Good communication

THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS NOT AS SIMPLE AND EASY AS THEY REPRESENTIVE CLAIMED IT WOULD BE. THE GUYS THAT INSTALLED THE LINE TO THE GENERATOR KILLED A SMALL TREE BESIDE THE ELECTRIC METER OUTSIDE. THE GUYS THAT DID THE ELECTRICAL HOOK UP INSIDE WERE GOOD, RESPECTFUL AND CLEAN WITH THEIR JOB BUT KNOCKED OUT OUR TELEPHONE LINE WHICH HAD TO BE RECONNECTED. OUR YARD WAS A MESS FROM NOVEMBER TILL MAY WHEN THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS COMPLETED AND AS OF THIS WRITING WE STILL HAVE NOT HAD OUR COUNTY APPROVAL AND BGE CONNECTING INTO THE METER. CDC IS TOO BUSY AND APPOINTMENTS CAN BE MONTHS OUT AT A TIME. LITTLE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WHOLE PROCESS. GLAD TO BE DONE WITH IT.

This is my second generator in 18 years.
I live on top of a mountain with many trees and occasional power outages. Electricity is a must around here to operate heat, water well, lights, garages and sanity. Best Investment Ever

The lenght of time it took to finish the project . Signed contract in May 23 finished Feb 24. the mess the contractors made of the front lawn. the charges from BGE , we were told a few thousand , we were charge 10,600$, not meeting code when Harford county inspected

CVS was entirely professional, entirely reasonable, and always available to answer any questions. I never felt that CDS was looking to sell me the most expensive generator. Rather, I was convinced they wanted to sell me the right generator for my home, without regard to increasing their own revenue by suggesting a larger generator. They were a pleasure to deal with, and I finally got the generator I could only think about the last 10 years.

CDS did a great installation of my new 24KW Generac generator with two Transfer panels. The way they installed the electrical cables and gas line was very orderly and clean. I would have no problem recommending CDS to my friends and family.

Good install, but I wish I knew ahead of time I would need my solar company to verify the installation. I am losing money everyday until my solar company can schedule an electrician to come here and turn my solar panels back on. Had I known prior, I could have had it scheduled for right after the install.

Poor communication long periods of time with no updates. Workers did not use shoe covers when entering the house. Tracking mud and debris thru house. Left electrical debris in driveway (screws and pieces of scrap tin metal). Installed ATS box incorrectly so did not pass inspection must be remove to another area on a brick wall. Asking for final payment before final inspection done which failed extending contract date for completion time.

Our generator had its annual maintenance check up by your company. Your service technician came on time and made sure everything was working before he left. I appreciated the confirmation txt the day before!
