Well informed experienced staff make dealing with CEF a breeze, the live stock shown on the website for all items is such a good tool to know how quick you can obtain items on a next day delivery service which normally arrives by 9.30 Am the next day and its free if you place a carriage paid order. Having worked for CEF in the past the way they have embraced technology for their online offering is to be commended, its a great website , best of all the wholesalers, so easy to place orders online. if you can add the option to pick lines off a quote to order online rather than the whole quote this would help a great deal moving forwards. cheers Adrian.

Poor Customer Service
I was passing one Saturday morning (12th March) and popped into CEF Hutton to get a quote for some electrical sockets and a light switch. The staff member took my details and said they’d contact me the following Monday and provide me with a quote. No one contacted me and despite chasing the branch twice, I never did receive my quote. I subsequently purchased the items elsewhere. What a waste of my time. Poor customer service. My details now provided by email to CEF Customer Services as well as via the subsequent Trustpilot link.

I made the error, although this was a WEB purchase CEF Head Office Customer Services resolved the COVID return problem by thinking outside the box, liaising with the Manager of my local Brentwood store to enable the return of unused items under COVID secure conditions.
