I ordered some light bulbs but unfortunately they didn’t work. I returned them and the staff were efficient in advising me that it wasn’t the bulbs but the light fixture that was the problem.

Great helpful staff

Visited the shop to find the right ceiling light. I couldn’t find it searching on the website. The man in the shop was so helpful. I wrote the code down and ordered one when I got home, he said it would be quicker delivery that way.

Almost ripped off.

Went into the Hull branch today for a RCCB, I'm not a trades person so it was a cash sale. The guy came from the stores with my item and said that's £67 please. I told him that's a ridiculous price, he looked on his computer and the price came down to £37!
How can this happen? Yes, I got £30 off, but I can't get over almost being ripped off had I not challenged the price.

I ordered some light bulbs but…

Don't place an order at the end of a month!

Placed a click and collect order online end of January to collect beginning of February. I received email confirming my order was ready to collect. When I went to the branch to collect the assistant told me my order had been cancelled as they cannot hold orders over from one month to the next? Fortunately they had sufficient stock in branch to fulfil my order, but still bemused by and confused by the experience!

Ordered some bandsaw blades offline

Ordered some bandsaw blades offline. Simple and easy web site which makes a nice change. Items turned up next day, well packaged and exactly as I ordered. Great price too. Thanks CEF 👍🏻

Ordered an item for next day any time…

Ordered an item for next day any time store delivery from a store in the area I was working. Was never notified when it came in. Couldn’t finish to job on the day I needed to.
