I had two orders one for a beam which …
I had two orders one for a beam which was 100% but my second order of three oak shelves were not as I expected. Two of them had gouge marks on one face and were quite deep so needed a lot of sanding. Fortunately I was able to keep this face on the underside.
However they all look great.

Did you by any chance get any pictures of the damage before sanding? I'd be interested to see if it occurred during transport or was an issue at our depot.
