People look at all the reviews Stuart the owner of this company does the same bad jobs some people don’t notice at first when they’ve had a job done by him be warned

Would not recommend at all. Terrible experience and quite stressful because we thought he seemed like a nice man. We accepted Stewart's quote of 22/6/2025 and sent him 50% deposit. 12 months later, after many phone calls, message exchanges, excuses, broken promises and no shows, we gave up. The job is not finished. The order was for 2 gates and railings. We are one gate and some railings not done and we have been left with one gate that does not close and a post that has no postcap on it, both showing rust, and poorly painted. We now have to pay someone else to rectify his poor workmanship.
Total disaster, be very cautious and think twice before you part with your money.

Would highly recommend Stewart and his lads.
He’s manufactured me the most beautiful steel gates to match my taste perfectly. The quality and finish on the gates is outstanding.
The lead time was quick and he supplied and fit the gate exactly when he promised. I’m really happy and will be recommending his services to a lot of people. I’m also getting him back to sort me a new side gate too.

Brilliant work carried out and completed by Stewart, highly reccomended!

Ordered some raw iron gates and a chimney brackets for a job, quality is next to none and customer service was ABOVE AND BEYOND !! The brackets needed adjusting on site and Stuart really did do everything he could to help us even after his job was done! Couldn’t be happier with everything. Will be highly recommending to all other building companies

Paid £650 deposit on a gate in April 2024 with a promise of an 8 week turnaround. In September Stuart finally decided to start, with several promises to fit them covering October, November and December. We have given up and asked for our money back, which has now been returned in full.

Be careful, Stuart takes on too much work and will string you along making strange excuses about weather that don’t add up.

Stuart did a superb job in producing handrails for us- in fact one comment was, “they look like they’ve always been there”. As they’re for an old pub, the Crown in Stockport, that was really good. Top quality workmanship.

Just had a gate and handrail fitted by Stewart. It is exactly what I asked for and I am delighted with the quality,design and cost of the work. I highly recommend the company.

Stewart called to take a look at some very dilapidated gates and posts for us. He inspired confidence immediately - his knowledge and experience shine-through. He advised what was possible and we agreed to the job. Stewart returned recently with the refurbished gates and they are outstanding in every respect - almost unbelievable, they look like new. So too the gateposts (these were re-furbished in situ to the same standard as the gates). This is work of the highest quality - real old school craft. It was a real pleasure to work with Stewart and his prices are very reasonable. I would recommend without reservation

Called early morning to have my wrought iron gates repaired and left a message and within minutes Stewart rang back and after describing what I wanted he said he would come round within the hour and he sure did.
He looked at what was needed and said if he could he would do it today in the afternoon.
At 4.30 he turned up and promptly arrived and did a good efficient repair at an agreed price....
Would recommend them to anyone needed fence repairs.

We've just had new garden railings installed by Stewart and are extremely pleased with the result. He helped us decide what would be best, was completely honest with the cost and had the job finished in no time. Pleasant guy with competitive rates would highly recommend.

Stewart is a highly skilled professional Craftsman and Welder. Not only a first-class blacksmith, but also a pleasure to work with, totally reliable, punctual , committed to his work and affable. He expertly renovated and extended our wrought iron balcony railings, producing an excellent result which we are delighted with. I cannot recommend Stewart and his company highly enough; make him your first port of call – you won’t be disappointed.

We contacted Stewart to supply design and fit garden railings to the front of our property. What a lovely genuine man who definitely knows his product and does the job very well. I cannot praise Chapel Industrial Mobile Services enough. After making contact to explain my problem, I sent over some photos to help Stewart to see what needed repairing. Stewart turned up 3 days later and completed my repairs in a few hours to a very high standard. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely reliable and he gets the job done.
