Chappelli Cycles Avis 209

Bought the 'vintage' flip-flop single speed with dropbars and small frame. I'm 170cm and bike fits extremely well - looks great with the seat set way up and full sized wheels.

Very fast next day delivery. Easy to set-up bicycle from the box. Some prior bicycle knowledge may help - took about 30 minutes, all tools needed are included in the box. Bike rides smooth and build quality is alright.

Only main problem was front wheel was not aligned. Wobbles when spun. Bought a spoke wrench and managed to fix this issue after watching a bunch of youtube videos.

Tried to switch wheel to fixed gear but had some trouble with chain grinding with the gear even after centering the wheel. May look into it if keen to ride a fixed gear.

Overall very aesthetically pleasing, simple bike. Would recommend the purchase if on sale.

Great bike for the money. It's stylish and easy to look at with decent quality components. It's quite heavy but that should also mean it will be durable. I replaced the stock pedals on mine with a decent platform pedal and that's all I've done to it. A quick release front wheel would have been a nice touch so I could get the bike in and out of the car a bit easier, but it's easy enough to do as long as I have a suitable wheel nut sized spanner handy.

Service was great, ordered bike 1 week before Christmas. They posted to Sydney showroom, picked up and assembled prior to Christmas. My son picked bike and I was totally blown away by the craftsmanship and the beauty of these bikes when I arrived at there shop to collect. The staff could not be nicer. My son loves his bike and I have already put in a request for my present next year from Chappelli Bikes.

Chose a bike online (and paid for it) only to find out via email later that night that it was discontinued and not actually available.
The staff were very helpful and offered me the next model up and threw in a free helmet and got it all shipped to me ASAP. Great customer service in the end.

Great bikes for the price point. I decided on the 3 Speed Disk, opting for gears over a Fixie. Very happy with it. And it is Australian.

For bang for buck not bad but the rims on both my sets were not straight, so there are slight buckles in my both my wheel sets. Maybe these need to be checked before dispatch.

Honestly, Chappelli's are well steezy and hands down the best bikes going in Australia in this price bracket. Do yourself a favor and head down to Collingwood to see these hombres. You won't regret it

Riding has never been so much fun. I'm more confident and can go further on my Chappelli cycle. It was an expensive purchase, but that just forces me to ride alot to get my money's worth!

I love my new cx titan riser, but quality control could be better on shipped bikes. My derailleur clearly had not be set properly before shipping - cable tension, high and low limit screws all needed a lot of adjustment.

I have had my bike for approx. 2 1/2 months now and just love it. The design is beautiful and stylish and with it's 3 gears it is so easy and smooth to ride. With the trim on the bike, it stands out from other bikes on the market. Just love my Chappelli! The staff at Chappelli were extremely helpful in choosing the right design and size bike for my needs.
