The course was clear and easy to understand, the tutor put the information in a good way that was easy to take in and with "hands on" teaching gave you confidence to do the job to a high standard, and safely too. I attended the 'Yacht Maintenance Week' Course and would strongly recommend it to one and all. The course has exactly the right mix of theory and practice, giving you the knowledge and skills to approach fault-finding and repair with confidence. Covering diesel, electrics, outboard, rope and sail as the main topics, it certainly exceeded my expectations.

I attended Chieftan’s level 2 Diesel engine course. The instructor was clearly experienced and a great communicator, we got lots of hands on experience with a variety of engines and lots of interaction. I would definitely recommend.

Our Part 2 Engine Maintenance Training Day with Chieftain was excellent. Lots of practical advice and a rare opportunity to be hands on with a range of engines. I can thoroughly recommend this course.

Perhaps the most effective and enjoyable course I have ever done. The Instructor was highly knowledgeable and able to translate that knowledge into easily understandable terms; questions were encouraged and answered thoroughly. The course more than met my expectations.
