The whole advertisement is false. The company should be charged for fraud.
Don't buy. Contacting my credit card company about this scam.

I bought a chill well several years ago and was deeply disappointed. It just basically blew the air back at me and was marginally cooled. Even with ice cubes in it as it suggested. 2 years later I kept seeing ads about how wonderful it was and I thought well gosh maybe they have improved the product with this many advertisements in such priority places so I bought another one for $89 and it literally was exactly the same experience all over again. Customer service was almost non-existent and completely disinterested in refunding the money. They offered me a percentage of the money back on my card, but even that was complicated and I didn't want any further Financial vulnerabilities with this company. So I tossed them because in good conscience I could not ask someone to pay me money for these . There was nothing else to do. Please don't make the mistake of thinking that this chill well does what it says it will do. It just simply does not.

The fan was hopeless for cooling a room. I feel like a complete moron. I bought 2. I little secret though... if you used a debit or credit card from your bank you can inform them of service not rendered. Basically the company refuses to honor their return policy and in my case B of America was able to reverse the transaction. It will probably take a few weeks but these fools never take the call from the bank and they will usually rule in your favor.

Used it one time. Now it won’t turn on. Epic fail.

If I could give this a -5 I would. This company is a scam. I purchased this product on 5/26/2024. Never received it, and called customer service. I was told it was on backorder. (they could have emailed to let me know) Then today 6/26/2024 I received an email saying my address is incorrect and cannot be processed. It is not incorrect. They were more than happy to cancel my order. Probably because they don't have enough production. My biggest complaint is the lack of any company that sells products knowing they don't have enough in stock. I have no idea if it is a good product since it was never shipped. Don't waste your time. Just order from a reputable company.

They totally pump you up for this great experience. What you get is a glorified fan. They are ridiculously expensive so you apt to buy several to save money but they're crap. The worst part is when I asked for a refund they said they'd send me half and I could keep all three. Now I'm left with the burden of getting rid of them. I'm so disappointed because I ended up having to spend two hundred more dollars just to cool the rooms. Don't buy. If you want a fan buy a fan. These don't cool. There's nothing chill about them and we'll they don't honored their money back guarantee.

We ordered three of these about 2 years ago. You get about as much cooling as a person blowing in your face. These things don't do anything to cool the house..

I search for reviews and most of them are run by the company selling the portable air cooler…. It was very suspicious…

Not worth $25 bucks. Practically everything promised by this product is a lie. A LIE. Moderately cool air comes out in small stream and there is NO WAY this thing could cool a classroom as advertised. It barely cools the area just in front of one person. The charging lasts about 2 hours max. Then it has to be recharged. Just a huge waste of money. I am furious about the lies they tell.

We were dissatisfied with this product, it’s not worth the money in our opinion. They are nice portable fans but I could have bought those for much cheaper. When they are on their coolest setting, they do work but they need to be pointing straight at you. They might cool down a tiny cubicle sized space. I’m not sure why they were so highly rated, that was a huge reason why we bought them.

tried to return it and now they are refusing to refund my money.. The trial period is a bunch of crap. They do not stand behind the product. Buyer BEWARE of the scam of money back guarantee. They also when you call the number give you a bunch of BS.. Paid for shipping it back and they received it but refuse to refund my money. This was for unused products also. Ich kann die negativen Erfahrungen nur bestätigen: ich interessierte mich für das Gerät, merkte aber, dass man immer mehr kaufen sollte und wollte den Vorgang komplett abbrechen. Ging nicht: Schon war das Geld abgebucht. Dann ging das Theater erst richtig los: ich schrieb, dass ich die Ware nicht haben will. (Erst mal eine Email Adresse von denen finden..) Die Steuer war, wie andere bereits berichteten, hoch und nicht angekündigt.
Als das Paket ankam, war ich zuhause, aber der der Postbote warf einfach die Karte ein und verschwand. Also musste ich das Paket abholen. Ich habe es leider nicht sofort zurückgewiesen, weil ich nicht wusste, von dem die Ware kam, was es ist (Erwartete weitere Pakete). Also verklebte ich die Originalverpackung und brachte das Paket zurück zur Post. Dort musste es in einen Karton umgepackt werden, weil Privatpersonen nicht in Plastik verschicken dürfen. Das kostete knapp 20 Euro, weil die Absenderadresse in den Niederlanden ist und die Firma keine Retourenscheine zur Verfügung stellt. Es ging an die Adresse, die auf dem Paket stand. Trotzdem kam es als unzustellbar zurück. Wieder musste ich 10 Euro beim Empfang des Pakets bezahlen, da es offensichtlich unfrei zurück kam. Die Postangestellten erläuterten mir, was alles passieren könne, wenn ich das Paket weiter zurück wies. Also nahm ich es mit und nahm Kontakt zur Firma auf. Diese verlangte von mir, dass ich das Paket nach Las Vegas (!) schicken solle. Daraufhin habe ich mich geweigert (kostet nochmal ca. 50 Euro) und mitgeteilt, dass ich das zur Schlichtung an paypal übergeben werde. Dann erhielt ich mehrere widersprüchliche Emails auf Englisch: In einer wurde ich nochmal aufgefordert, alles nach Las Vegas zu schicken, in der anderen erhielt ich den Hinweis, dass ich zumindest den abgebuchten Betrag (nicht die zusätzlichen ca. 30 Euro Porto) ersetzt bekommen würde. Zur Sicherheit habe ich nachgefragt, was mit der Ware passieren soll, weil ich nicht mehr bereit bin, weitere Portokosten zu bezahlen. Darauf kam die Antwort, dass ich sie behalten kann. Die Ware kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Das Gerät entspricht nicht den Beschreibungen.

Lieferschein und Auftragsnummer oder dergleichen gibt es ebenfalls nicht!

Jeder billigste Ventilator ist besser und leiser.

Die Firma Chillwell arbeitet mit unseriösen Maschen. Als mir der viel zu hohe Preis von 132 € anstatt wie in der Werbung angegeben 89 € in Paypal angezeigt wurde wollte ich den Zahlungsvorgang abbrechen. Das ging aber nicht und die Summe wurde zur Zahlung angewiesen. Ich erhielt nach Zahlung keine Bestellbestätigung mit Bestellnummer wie man sie von einer seriösen Firma erwartet. Der ach so freundliche customer service fand meine Bestellung auch nicht als ich sie wieder stornieren wollte und mein Geld zurück haben wollte. Trotzdem wurde die Klimaanlage wenn man sie denn so nennen möchte geliefert. Und das obwohl angeblich keine Bestellung da war. Die Leute im Customer Service sind auf dumm stellen geschult, damit ja nichts storniert oder zurück geschickt wird. Die Beschreibung der Klimaanlage in der Werbung entspricht nicht den Tatsachen, sie ist laut und kühlt nicht. Finger weg von dieser unseriösen Firma!

Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei, hält aber nicht das Versprechen einen Raum zu kühlen. Wenn man in der Nähe ist, merkt man eine leichte Abkühlung. Wollte das Gerät zurücksenden aus den obigen Gründen. Bekam allerdings keine Adresse in Europa und auch mein Geld trotz rückgabegarantie nicht zurück. Darum Finger weg von dieser Firma.

Chill Well is janky. Can not get hold of anyone. Need to return this cheap junk. Not even a receipt in the package.

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. Piece of crap for $100 bucks. Don’t fall for it. I tried it for ten minutes and just blows a weak fan over cool water. I tried to return it after one day but they said it was “ used” and offered me only a 50% discount to keep the stupid thing and suggested I donate it to charity. Scam Scam. Scam.
