This is the 2nd set I've rented from Chorley Bricks. Again no issues with payment & shipping both to me and return. So far not had to stop a build because of missing pieces, so not had to use this aspect of their service. Rental far more cost-effective then buying outright if like me the enjoyment is building the set.

Great product and service, really good communication and an excellent way to enjoy Lego via rental instead of having to pay full price to buy.

We have just returned our first set borrowed from Chorley Bricks and we have been impressed with this Lego ‘lending library’. We particularly liked the ability to book a set on a day of our choosing and the range of more challenging sets available to us.
The whole process from choosing our build to returning the set was smooth and efficient with communication excellent throughout.

When I first signed up it seemed pretty good. Unfortunately the more sets I rented the more I realised it wasn't that great, fair few missing pieces. Sets are not checked, one I rented titanic he asked me to send straight to another renter because he got mixed up about when it needed to be back then I got the blame when there was a long list of missing pieces how did he know it wasn't the new renter? Also if you or someone you live with smokes don't go to this company I never heard the end of it.. even though I read all rules it never said anything about not being able to smoke in same house as the set. He kept saying the set smelled of smoke even when I cleaned every bag and box before sending it back. He kept saying sets had to be kept pristine which I thought was funny since all sets not good, either missing pieces, books falling apart, Stickers or minifigures missing. I understand that he said he doesn't have time to check sets but this isn't fair on renter. My new rental company checks them on return and I've had no issues since. Shame he's a nice man who is trying his best but think he needs to do things a little differently.

This is a great company and runs a very successful and organised system. You get to build all sorts of Lego sets that would be otherwise impossible to afford. The terms and conditions are totally understandable and fair. I would highly recommend this company.

I rented the Harry Potter Collector’s Edition set The Burrow. I’m local so did the pick up and drop off which was trouble free with handover done in a couple of minutes. I loved the set and thought long and hard about buying it but didn’t have anywhere suitable to display it. Renting was just as good as buying as the set was bagged up as per the instructions and the set and book were clean and fairly new. it was a lovely build and not overly complicated to put back in the correct bags when taking it down. I will use the service again.

Have just completed Snow White's Cottage - our 3rd rented Lego set. We've previously hired the Home Alone house and a Star Wars starship, and all have been great fun to build. What a fantastic idea to be able to rent these sets - we've had the pleasure of building them, just as you would from new, but without the huge expense of buying them, and no worries of having to store or display them afterwards. It's also such a lovely family activity - our children are 11 and over, so it's great to find an activity we can sit and enjoy together. The service is excellent too - Gary is so friendly and helpful and the box often arrives in the post earlier than expected. Return postage couldn't be more simple - the box can even be collected from your house, if that's easier for you than dropping it at the post office! Hogwarts Castle is our next booking, but there are many more on the list of ones we'd like to build!

Such a great idea. I love being able to build big sets I wouldn't otherwise be able to avoid. I have rented multiple sets now and all have been complete and separated in numbered bags so you get the same experience as buying new but at a fraction of the cost. Plus you don't have to worry about storage afterwards. Highly recommended.

What a great way to continue your hobby without the huge expense of buying Lego sets.
Easy to arrange and pick up

Fantastic first experience! Everything was really efficient with preserving and receiving the Lego. A great way to try lots of different sets. Would definitely recommend to any Lego fans!

After spending £100’s on various Lego sets for my son I was advised to contact Chorley Bricks as I was getting frustrated about lack of space to store his models. He wanted to be challenged but I could not justify the cost to have it built and then not displayed. I hired the Hogwarts Castle for 3 weeks over the recent half term holiday and it was the best £30 I have ever spent. It kept my son occupied all week and I wasn’t being pestered about expensive days out. Communication with Gary is easy and reliable. The only downside was underestimating how long it would take to disassemble!! Our next project has already been ordered for Easter.

Really easy to order and fast hassle free delivery and return. All efforts have been taken to ensure you have the best experience. The bags are numbered just like the original so you can easily follow along with the instructions. We love doing these big builds as a family. Can't wait for our next delivery!

Easy to use and the best way in the UK to build all those Lego sets you want but can't keep built (wife won't let me :)
For the price of roughly 10-15% of the set you can build it without a subscription
