I’m obsessed with Citizens of Soil and everything they stand for. It’s rare to find a brand actually seems to care about the details. Every delivery feels like a little discovery—introducing me to incredible oils I never would’ve found on my own.

They’ve truly covered every base; the packaging is genius. Being able to pop the empty sachets back in the post for free to "close the loop" makes being sustainable effortless.

You aren’t just getting a new oil; you’re getting a story. The included cards detailing the oil’s origin, tasting notes, and pairing suggestions make the whole process feel incredibly thoughtful and premium. (Also the recipe suggestions are a brilliant touch and have actually leveled up my cooking game!)

It’s clear how much heart goes into this brand. If you’re looking for high-quality oil that doesn't cost the earth, I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

I look forward to my delivery so much. It’s amazing to taste real olive oil with actual punchy flavours rather than store bought, mass produced bland oil. Learning about the provenance and the stories of the producers makes it even more special. Citizens of Soil has been the best subscription I’ve ever signed up for. Thank you!

Great oils with high polyphenols (the good stuff) - really enjoy using these and look forward every month to a new and different oil. Good variety and some are good for cooking and some are good for finishing or dressings.

Poor packaging. Delivery arrived penetrated which caused permanent stains on wooden floors

Received a gift of 6 months olive oil subscription for Christmas and was so excited about this gift. However the link I received to activate my subscription wouldn’t work and said I had no active products - we then tried via my Mum’s link which was provided as a ‘back up’ link to the gifter - this also did not work. Emailed the support team and they sent me a new link - this new link still didn’t work and said I needed to add the subscription of £75 to my account to activate it (my mum had already paid £75 for the gift!)
Emailed customer support to check if this was a scam and ask for refund. To be fair the support team have been incredible but it’s a shame they couldn’t sort out the broken links earlier. It ruined a lovely Christmas present surprise and took the excitement out of what should have been a beautiful gift. However I can’t commend the support team highly enough. The team have refunded the gift subscription and have offered to send me and my Mum oil of good will. If they can sort the dodgy tech and poor UX then can 100% recommend
