Please DON’T visit in an emergency situation!!! The worst service!!! You can go there if you are ready to pay a few more hundred bucks for the bill that can be given to you after a year from an appointment!! I try to tell my story short. I went to the CityMD in July 2021 (Yes, almost a year ago). At the front desk, I asked for the service (I had a rash and I wanted to see a doctor) and the price with my insurance. I highlighted that I am an international student and my insurance was provided by the school so I don’t know how everything works. A woman at the front desk checked everything and convinced me that I’d be paying only $50 (in this case I agreed for the service, as I wasn’t able to pay anything more than $100.)
Two weeks ago from today June 2022. I got a bill that stated you need to pay almost $200 more. I called the billing department and they said it’s not our problem but your insurance declined to pay the rest. I called insurance and it appeared I didn’t have coverage for June and July of that year (no one ever told me about it and there is nothing on my insurance card about it), and they sent me again to CityMD and suggested to continue my case with them as it is not their competency.
Ok, back to CityMD, I want to notice from now on for every operator I was waiting around 30 minutes!!!! I called them back operator didn’t help me and I ask for a manager (name Attala if I spell it right) so she said the manager was busy and they promised to call back. When I called them back the next day they said to give them up to 48 hours. Ok, I waited for 96 hours. Didn’t get a callback. I called them again, manager Anna told me that it’s the patient responsibility to check their insurance dates and I must pay that bill because I signed something that stated that patients are also responsible for any extra payment that can appear after an appointment (the fact that they made this bill a year after (maybe I would be fine if it arrived like in a month))
Then I asked this manager for a copy of these documents that I signed, she transferred me to another line and I couldn’t reach another department because when I clicked any of the options they repeated. I called the billing department again. The man was rude to me and didn’t want to transfer to a manager (he said she is busy) he promised a manager would get back to me. Never happened… please choose another urgent care
Customer service at CityMD is the worst

I waited in line for 2 hours in the rain only to be told they don’t have any tests left when I got inside. They didn’t even have the courtesy to come outside and let everyone know at once because they didn’t want to get wet themselves

CityMD forces its customers (I’d call them patients if I thought they even remotely treated us as such) to download the Summit Health app in order to manage our accounts, an app that doesn’t even work. I’m now required to go to my CityMD to print out my test results months after the app has launched, a huge source of anxiety for a company that I’m supposed to entrust with my health and health records.

My experience was a DISASTER!!! I was just in a car accident and was seeking medical attention from CITYMD because they were close, I've been there before and I believed they could help. I was SO WRONG! My experience began and ended as follows: I arrived at 5:35 pm, 25 mins before closing at 6pm. I filled out the documents, presented all my insurance information, received a welcoming Email and waited to be seen. There was only one other person in the waiting room besides myself. Remember, I was there well before closing. By the time I was finally seen was 6:45 and yes, the facility was closed. I was then told VERY RUDELY by a Dr. Huaxu Cheng that the system was down at 6pm for maintenance. I asked him why did you have me sit here all this time? Why did you waste my time and now you're in possession of my personal and medical documentation? Are you going to do an examination? His RUDE answer was, yeah your time was wasted and there was nothing he was going to do about it, you'll have to find another facility. He then gets up from the chair in the examination room and just walks out. See ya, when I see ya! REALLY??? I have never experienced such medical unprofessionalism in my life! What if unbeknownst to any of us I really needed medical attention? What if I walked out the door and collapsed? Would he have in good faith fulfilled his Hippocratic Oath? HE IS AND THIS FACILITY IS A DISGRACE!!! SO NO, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! I WILL BE SURE TO TELL "EVERYONE" I KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE! THANK GOD I'M FINE BUT NOT BECAUSE CITYMD WAS THERE FOR ME; BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T! DISGRACE...

Off the charts bad service for medical clinic especially! I had to wait days for a call back after repeatedly being put on hold an extremely long time to speak to staff. I knew almost immediately when I walked into the shabby storefront and saw a ragtag group of clowns dressed and posing as a medical staff that it was bad, but not nearly as horrendous as it turned out. Close these dumps down before the cadavers start piling up!

They’re scumbags. They sent me extra bills for services even after I paid in full. They have a good business idea and are handy in an emergency but are absolutely unethical and should be investigated for deliberately misleading acts.

Bad billing practices. Paid cash In full and a month Later they sent me more bills even after I confirmed I was paid in full. The entire medical industry is scummy feeling, but this is the worst experience I’ve ever been involved with.

They’re convenient for small injuries and illnesses which is good.
They always charge me more than the agreed upon amount afterwards. Really scummy business practices that feels like it should be illegal.
