I used Citymove to move and store furniture between sale of one property and my onward purchase. I found all the staff helpful with any queries and totally understanding when dates were moved.

Would recommend using city moves to anyone who is moving house. The customer service team are very helpful and always on hand to answer any queries prior to our move date. Everything ran to time and the lads took great care of our possessions when transporting to our new property. No damages at all and a very friendly services.

We recently moved house using City Moves who were excellent from start to finish. Easy to contact and arrange a quote and didn't ned to pay in full until a few days before. We had the packing service which was excellent value and would highly recommend. The lads who packed our belongings and then moved them the next day were all such hard workers and very efficient. The aftercare with collecting empty boxes on several days was very helpful too. I would highly recommend City Moves to anyone moving house.

The team made the move stress free from the initial booking to the move itself. Flexible when we needed to move the date. Moving day went smoothly, team were fantastic and the move itself went without a hitch. We highly recommend.

From start to finish I was hugely impressed by the service we received from City Moves. A family run business with good old fashion values, great service and a very competitive quote. Even when I was concerned a few days before that we may need more capacity than had been planned, it was sorted with ease. The day of the move could not have gone more smoothly, and the team were excellent. I cannot recomend City Moves highly enough. (When researching different companies I had reached out to four other companies - the price varied massively and so did the service). Don't waste your time looking elsewhere, these guys are top of their game of what they do and reasonable. Whats not to like?

I rented a storage unit with City Moves for 18 months and they were brilliant! Anytime I wanted to visit I was accommodated and it was very safe. I also booked them to do the move from Wales to London and it was excellent. Arrived right on time and everything was in perfect condition. I will be using them again and I cannot recommend enough! Lovely people too :)

The best part overall about City Moves was that they did a virtual review of our belongings then quoted us on the size of the truck (not the specific items going into it). When the movers arrived at our house, they were happy to fill the truck with our furniture plus whatever else would fit. So no haggling over an extra table or lamp or a few boxes. The movers themselves were professional and super-quick workers. The entire move was completed fast, and the movers even rearranged a few items in our new house when we re-thought the aesthetics. It was an easy and cost-effective move.

From first contact, city moves were great! Guys turned up at 8am on the day of our move (Bristol to Wales) nothing was too much trouble and they had the whole house packed up just after lunch time! Friendly and efficient, would highly recommend!

From the initial phone call to request a quote right through to getting all our items into our new property we have no complaints at all.

Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. The video call to see our property and what we'd be taking with us was easy and fitted in perfectly around us. A team of guys came to load up a massive truck and were done within 3 hours! We then had it all delivered and unloaded in our new property in a couple of hours. We were even asked where we wanted the items rather than left to move it all about ourselves. Our beds were dismantled and reassembled which was a godsend for us.

Honestly, the actual moving of our furniture was the leats stressful part of the whole buying a new home process.

We moved from Kent on the 26/09 and relocated on 30/09 to Pembrey South Wales. We needed a huge van to cope with all our belongings and to transport our motorcycle and City Moves provided the right van and two excellent 3 men crews to deal with everything so professionally for us. They negotiated a very tight turning into our old street, lifted and shifted very heavy items with ease and managed to get us entirely packed up within 4 hours. All the while the men were reassuring me not to worry it would be ok and sure enough when the second crew unloaded our stuff in Wales, everything was ok, not a scratch or dent on anything. The men were efficient, quick, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thanks guys and thanks City Moves.

Exceptionally efficient and helpful throughout the whole experience, easy to deal with and contact, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend City Moves. Totally value for money especially with the added reduction in stress on moving day due to their friendly, knowledgeable and speedy staff.

The removal guys were super helpful, really friendly and accommodating. We’d never moved before and it’s obviously a stressful situation but they totally put us at ease and took great care of all our furniture. The whole process of booking City Moves was great too - we were concerned as we didn’t exchange contracts until 4 days before completing, but they made everything simple and straightforward, reassuring us and explaining the process clearly. Highly recommend!

We were told on a Friday that we were moving on the following Tuesday. So it was with trepidation that we called City Moves to arrange removals. I have never spoken to anyone who was so helpful, in fact we had tears in our eyes after that first call. The next day, we had a video call to establish how much we had to move, later on another call to give us the price.
We were kept informed so we were prepared for removal day. Once again the guys were so helpful, they worked so quickly and professionally.
At the new house, their attitude was the same, professional and helpful.
I was dreading the move, but there was no stress, it all went so smoothly.
I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, we'll be calling City Moves
