Avoid this company. Got a refund for only £42 after waiting over 7 months. Would never have known that they got a refund if hmrc didn’t send out a letter. I presume they have pocketed the money as 1 month after getting the letter I still haven’t heard from this company.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review, client feedback is always welcome.
With regards to your review, yes we have received a refund for you, however as per the email that we sent to your on 24th June, which you opened and read on 24th June, as your refund was so small this did not cover our minimum charge for a uniform tax refund claim.
Finally, with regards to the 'waiting 7 months', unfortunately HMRC are quite far behind due to staffing issues caused by the pandemic which we understandably have no control over.

Right place right time!
I was recently made aware of a milage claim but had no idea how to go about it. I came across this company online and I am over the moon that I found them. Everything I needed to do they explained with no difficulty. I've now had 2 successful claims and will be using them again next year. Special mention to Mike who I dealt with. He is efficient and very responsive with phone calls and emails. They of course take there cut but its deserved.

17 weeks and counting and still haven't heard anything back??
Yes i have left a review for a similar company as i waited 6 months and heard nothing back and now the same has happened with you. I have emailed you 5 or 6 times and every time you say you haven't heard back. I emailed a week ago and you haven't bothered to reply, hence the 1 star review.
I have provided you with the correct details but you can't be bothered to reply to your customers so I will be keeping the 1 star review.
My claims code ends in 210G and it's from October if you want proof I made a claim with you then I can happily show emails from yourself.

Hi Nicola,
Apologies that it has taken so long to get back to you. It turns out that your tax refund claim was a little bit more complicated than a standard claim. This is because you made multiple claims through multilpe tax agencies as you have confirmed above with your review.
To give you a quick synopsis of your claim; you applied through multiple tax agents to process your claim. This creates a conflict of interest with all parties involved (all the tax agents that you applied through and HMRC) as you sign multiple legally binding 'Deed of assignments' covering the same tax years with all agencies involved.
HMRC have taken a stance in recent years to not reply to tax agents concerning clients where multiple claims have been submitted. This is because it is our responsibility as tax agents is to complete full due diligence checks with all of our clients. I have investigated your claim with us, and you confirmed that you had not made a claim with any other agency which is why we proceeded with the claims process with you.
