ClearLegacy is an online Will-writing service for England and Wales, built to make protecting your family simple, fast and affordable. A single Will costs £89 and Mirror Wills for couples cost £129 — a fixed price with no appointments, no hidden fees and no solicitor's bill. You answer plain-English questions online at your own pace (your progress saves automatically), pay securely, and your first draft arrives by email within minutes. Every Will is then checked before it's issued, and your final document is delivered ready to sign with clear, step-by-step signing and witnessing instructions. Each order includes one free update, so a change of address or a new grandchild doesn't mean starting again. We also check in once a year to make sure your Will still reflects your wishes — marriage, divorce, new children, house moves and executor changes are exactly the life events a Will needs to keep up with. ClearLegacy is a trading name of Kaizen Finance Ltd (Company No. 12092327) and holds professional indemnity insurance. We support specific gifts, guardianship wishes for minor children, substitute executors and beneficiaries, and funeral wishes — the things real families actually need. Your legacy, made clear. If you have a question before you start, just email us — a real person reads every message.

I have put this off from ages - Clearlegacy made it very easy. Their system gave me time to think and carry on where I left off so we could discuss options as a family
Super impressed - simple and very cost effective. 5 Stars
I recently used this service to draft a will for myself and my wife and we purchased a mirror will. I found the website really easy to navigate, not complicated and the price was very affordable. I'm happy with the service provided and would be happy to recommend Clear Legacy to anyone looking to sort out their will. The whole process only took me about 15/20min to final draft and I'm not tech savvy at all!

Easy and simple to follow and a hell of a lot cheaper than a Scottish solicitor! Thank you.

Thank you Shirley for your review - much appreciated
Aggressive email sent from them after I politely informed them if it was possible for a refund . Never in my experience in dealing with companies have I received such a childish and argumentative email.
I will be reporting this to appropriate bodies . Really upset me .

Linda & Geoff Reece,
I'm sorry you came away upset. For anyone reading, here is what happened.
This order was for Mirror Wills. Before paying, every customer completes the full questionnaire and confirms at checkout that they want the work to start straight away and that the right to cancel ends once the first draft is sent. The first drafts were emailed within a minute of payment.
Your request to cancel reached us twelve minutes later, after the work had been done.
I replied that morning, explained why the fee for work already supplied stood, and offered to finish the job. The final Wills were delivered that afternoon, as ordered. One line in my email was put more sharply than it should have been and I apologised for it in writing two days later. I stand by the substance.
Your Wills were completed and sent to you signing. If anything in them needs correcting, reply to our email and we will put it right.

Thanks for your review Jackie - much appreciated
My experience with ClearLegacy was absolutely fantastic. The advice I received was immediate, clear, concise and thorough. Ironically I was advised that their service offering was not suited to my particular circumstances but this did not prevent them from sending me a detailed response which included the reasons they were unable to assist me, along with options to consider and some excellent advice. First Class!

Happy to help Andrew
To be honest, I’ve been putting off writing a will because it felt complicated and a bit morbid. A friend recommended Clear Legacy and I’m so grateful. The whole process was quick, easy and painless, I don’t know why I put it off for so long. The service was amazing and I wish more people knew about it. The review and feedback was helpful and thorough, I feel reassured that someone took the time to go through every detail to give me real peace of mind.

Thank you, Reena - and I'm glad the putting-it-off part is over. That's easily the most common thing we hear. Every Will gets a structured check against the Wills Act 1837 before it's issued, and I look personally at anything that check flags, so the feedback you had is the process working as intended. Do keep your free update in mind if anything changes - marriage, children, a house move.
Really easy and straightforward online service.
The process was simple to follow, everything was clearly explained, and it made creating a will quick and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you, Arun. Quick and straightforward is exactly what we aim for - the questionnaire is plain English and takes most people about 20 minutes. Behind the scenes every Will is checked against the Wills Act 1837 before it's issued, so simple at your end doesn't mean unchecked at ours. Your free update is there whenever anything changes.
I recently used Clear Legacy to create my will and was thoroughly impressed by how seamless the entire process was. The interface is exceptionally user-friendly—I was actually able to complete everything directly from my phone without any hassle.
What really set the experience apart was the added peace of mind. Knowing that a real human reviews every detail gave me huge confidence. I even received tailored feedback on my draft to make my will even stronger and more comprehensive, which I found invaluable.
I’m so impressed with the efficiency and quality of the service that I’ve already referred Clear Legacy to both my partner and my grandparents to get theirs sorted too. If you've been putting off making a will, this is the easiest way to get it handled properly.

Thank you - good to hear, and especially that it worked start to finish on a phone. Worth setting out plainly for anyone reading: every Will gets a structured automated check against the Wills Act 1837, and I personally check any Will that review flags before it is released. It isn't a solicitor review and it isn't legal advice, but nothing goes out unchecked - and the tailored feedback you had on your draft is that process doing its job. Thank you for the referrals, they mean a great deal to a small business.
Very simple and straight forward process if you have a non-complicated will to set up. The team were also very proactive in any amendments needed.
Very good value for money and removes the risk of not having a will in place.
The whole process takes about 30min.

Thank you, Frank. You've put your finger on who this suits: a straightforward estate, sorted properly in about half an hour, without a solicitor's fee for work that doesn't need one. Where things are more complicated we'll say so rather than take the order. Glad the amendments were handled quickly - and your free update is there if anything changes down the line.
