John was great from the first time we met him told us about how the cabins were installed and the work that would be done from start to finish and if we had any questions John was always on hand to answer them from start to finish John and his team were great couldn’t have asked for a better team

I was initially a bit nervous about making contact, but Clever Built Cabins were really easy to deal with and completely pressure free. The cabins are beautiful, the pricing was clear and easy to understand, and the team were very knowledgeable. They gave me great guidance around planning requirements and helped me understand what to consider before moving forward. The service was excellent and very much appreciated.

We know John through the hutting community in Scotland and reached out when my dad’s hut was in poor shape. Being in his 70s, he couldn’t manage a rebuild himself, and most companies weren’t interested due to how remote the site was. John and the team were more than happy to help and were incredibly patient, especially with my dad. The support and understanding made the whole process much easier, and we’re really thankful for that.

After a long wait and finally getting our allotment plot, we wanted something nicer than just a shed as we’d been lucky to get quite a large space. We started looking into cabins and the Arran really caught our eye with the overhang, which would be perfect for the plot. As we’re new to allotments and still building up our DIY skills, we had plenty of questions. Alana was lovely on the phone and John gave us clear, patient advice when we weren’t sure about things like roof shingles. The guidance and build information they shared made the whole idea feel much less daunting. We’re really grateful for the time they took to help us and would happily recommend Clever Built Cabins.

We’re in Cumbernauld and have been thinking about adding a garden room as a crafting space, but honestly weren’t sure if Tammy and I could manage something like that ourselves. I’ve tackled smaller DIY projects before, a shed being the biggest, but nothing on this scale. After speaking with John, it all felt a lot less daunting, he explained things clearly and never made me feel daft for asking questions. The build guide he shared was really easy to follow, and now we felt confident that, we’d be able to take it on ourselves. It’s reassuring to know insulation can be added later too, when budget permits.

I recently had a cabin built by Cleverbuiltcabins and I couldn’t be happier with the result! The space is incredibly well-designed, offering plenty of room and a great layout. The workmanship is exceptional — you can really tell that the team took great care in constructing it. Every detail, from the foundation to the finishing touches, was done with precision and attention to quality. The cabin was installed quickly and professionally, and the team made sure everything was exactly as I wanted. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-built, comfortable outdoor cabin.
Thank you John and the crew
