Would recommend to anyone

Close Protection Academy is a great training provider for all types of training. I recommend Nick PLAYER as a trainer who not only has sound knowledge of the topics, he also has previous background in the Police. A very nice venue with modern facilities and close to a train station.

My course, (CP Refresher) was run in a most professional manner by Nick, who is a very experienced and competent instructor. I have no problem in recommending this company for any courses they run.

The trainer explained everything clearly and encouraged participation, The material were easy to understand and the learning environment was supportive and inclusive. I gained valuable knowlage and practical skills that i can use in my role.

My experience at Close Protection Academy was excellent. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable, and I learned a great deal throughout the course.

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get into the close protection industry.

My conversations with Nick Player were very important before I booked my course with Close Protection Academy. Nick explained everything very clearly. The classroom size was small which worked really well for me as I'm neurodivergent and can get overwhelmed sometimes. The course structure throughout was great. The trainers made everyone feel at easy straight away. The training enrionment was moden and very clean. The trainers knowledge was also right up there. I would definitely recommend Close Protection Academy to anyone.

Nick and his team are fantastic at delivering this course. The instructors are very knowledgeable in relation to the training aims. I will use them again for further training

Nick was a really great trainer his laid back approach made the whole course a pleasure. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into the industry or needing a refresher course.

I had the pleasure of attending my Close Protection Refresher Course at the Close Protection Academy in Stratford, London. The course offered a highly valuable opportunity to refine professional skills, remain current with industry best practices, and uphold the highest standards expected within the close protection sector.

The training was delivered to an excellent standard, with clear structure, relevant content, and practical application throughout. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Head Instructor, Mr Nick Player, whose expertise, professionalism, and high-quality instruction significantly enhanced the learning experience.

The Close Protection Academy consistently delivers training of the highest calibre, and their courses are highly recommended.

Nick has a depth of knowledge & skills which translates over into his classroom. His intent is to support and achieve a high level pass mark for his cohort.

Honestly the best course I’ve been on In terms of structure and delivery. The trainer Nick Player is very knowledgeable with extensive experience so I had no problem with understanding the objectives. Very beautiful venue, clean and so close to the public transport! Thanks again Nick!

Great company to compete your courses with. Location is perfect weather your commuting via vehicle or train, parking and cheap accommodation is also very close by. Instructor Nick Player was bang on with presenting and instructing the CP Top-up course, nothing was rushed and everything was explained and taught in detail and at a pace which was enjoyable. Will definitely be going back to CloseProtectionAcademy for future qualification requirements.

Really good course.
Everything was explained and demonstrated well.
Smaller groups so didn’t feel rushed.
Trainer was very good and would do other courses with this company.
Ideally located 5 mins from Stratford and the class room was lovely.

The training was delivered in a very professional manor and in a way that included all types of learning, at great value and a very knowledgable teacher I would recommend to everyone

I attended the Level 3 Use of Mechanical Restraints course today, and it was delivered brilliantly. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all questions with confidence. The structure of the course made it engaging and easy to follow, and Nick’s delivery style really brought it to life. He’s an ace at engaging with participants and making the learning experience both enjoyable and effective.

When you consider the security industry authority and their lack of acceptance around mechanical restraints and their ignorance of the usefulness for health and safety and preventing further public order, it shows. There are companies out there like this, who don’t only just provide a service, but also really enjoy the delivery of something that keeps some Security staff safe in both the close protection world as well as the night time economy.
This course is well delivered well received I would definitely book for another course again in another area of security.
Courses like this and the Close Protection Academy should be the the flagship for businesses for the future personal development for professional people in security Roles.
