I did not expect to have to oay Customs Tax …
My order has not arrived yet because I am informed by the post office that I must pay Customs tax. Had I known this before purchasing, I would not have bought the pattern. I am waiting to hear back from Clothkits to see if I already paid a UK tax and if so to see if can get a refund of that tax

So sorry to read that you have been surprised by the customs charges, the whole thing is a bit of a mare since the dreaded Brexit. We do try and make this clear with our terms and conditions pages but appreciate that you may not have understood this. Unfortunately customs charges will be the case with all purchases from the UK into europe - and of course vice versa. You have not been charged UK tax. Update. The kit arrived today. The fabric is super soft and cute.
Has not been delivered. Shop app says it has been delivered, perhaps it will arrive today.

Great gift idea
My apron kit arrived very quickly and was beautifully presented in the parcel. I love that everything is there ready for me to sew. This would make a great gift for a keen sewer.

I first discovered Clothkits in the…
I first discovered Clothkits in the late 1980s, and particularly loved the kits for baby clothes and soft toys (my daughter still has a couple of dolls tucked away from 30+ years ago!). I’m rediscovering the Clothkits range in retirement and am currently enjoying using their sewing patterns.

My one slight niggle..... I couldn't order fabric in half metres, so have a bit too much for my project. I'll have to be creative with spare fabric so as not to waste it.
Would definitely order again, and plan to visit store at some point
