Wonderful experience with little to no intervention

The people I talked to knew their job. They got me the best rate I could get.

Setup new electricity service for a certain date, got confirmation via email as well, but then another email saying electricity setup was delayed by 5 days!!! Had to call the electricity provider to start the process over again! Frustrating

Very nice in locating the price per kwh I was looking for and a nice updated plan option for my home

Compare Power provided info- on web and over phone- that I used to make a decision on which electric company to choose (4 Change Energy). In making this decision, I was advised to calculate my average 30 day usage to help determine appropriate plans. 4Change Energy did not fulfill my change request as I directed and have confirmation of thru Compare Power's site, causing me to incur fees and overcharges. My first billing cycle is calculated at 19 days at full rate per kh since I did not meet the minimum, that was based upon 30 days of use. I was also told by 4 Change that if I had contacted them by 11/13 I would have had more options. I did not receive the bill or any indication that the power was switched early, against my directives, until I received their bill on 11/26. 4 Change stated that was unfortunate for me. When I contacted Compare Power after learning this, I was told they would help me find another new company but not offer advice or assistance with the last company they referred me to. If you want a company that recommends reputable services and stands with you through the process they complete on your behalf, Compare Power is definitely not the service for you.

Even though energy rates are through the roof, I think I got a good rate. Signing up was easy too!

It was easy to use but there could be more features to compare each plans and price points. Individually you can but it’s challenging without it side by side.
