Front brake kit, looked good when it finally arrived, took nearly 12 months. Discs seem to wear badly, i don't think they actually appreciate the hard earned money people are spending, 6 months they lost the lovely colour. Can you believe i wanted to support a home grown company and didn't enjoy the experience, and still went back. A few years later,
I then found they were doing a rear break kit i wanted to get front and rear matching and more stopping power,big mistake. The kit was not complete, no rear cables and could not find any one to help find or fit any,then sure they had a calliper set that looked like my original ones, got back in.touch asked if they would fit the kit they provided, bought them and they didn't even go over the disc never mind line up with the brackets. Sent them back never received the correct ones and been fobbed off ever since. About £3500 spent in total. wsh i had just never heard of them.

Ordered a set of custom dual fuel tanks at the end of February. The sales team initially promised a 5-day turnaround, so I paid in full upfront by credit card. Five days came and went with nothing. Two and a half weeks later I was still chasing – emails and calls largely ignored, responses slow or non-existent.

When I finally got through to the head of sales I was told the tanks were cut and ready to weld, but they were busy. Another two weeks passed. At that point I called to cancel, having already emailed them with a firm required delivery date. Again, nearly impossible to get hold of anyone.

When I did eventually speak to someone in sales I was told the tanks were made, boxed, and ready to ship. I asked for photos as proof. None came. On the Sunday, I received a call from their fabrication team – saying they were just starting the tanks and had a few questions. So the sales team had told me they were ready to ship while fabrication hadn't even begun. That tells you everything you need to know about the gap between what sales say and what's actually happening on the shop floor.

The tanks did arrive a couple of days later and, to their credit, they are excellent – well made and exactly what I needed. The fabrication team were great to deal with.

If you use them, go in with your eyes open:
– Get a confirmed delivery date in writing before paying anything
– Pay a deposit only; settle the balance on shipping, not before
– Always use a credit card – you'll have Section 75 protection if things go sideways
– Never use a debit card

Fabrication: 5 stars. Sales and communication: 1 star. Overall: 3 stars.

Bought a pedal box from this company. Answered messages in good time before purchase but as soon as you have a problem they go quiet and don’t respond. The clutch pedal is the wrong one yet im stick with it. I would not recommend using this company.

Although my item was lost in the post compbrake responded promptly to my concerns over non delivery, they did their due diligence in researching the issue and then responded by issuing a replacement which arrived promptly. Communication was speedy and I would certainly order from them again. The item was better than described and excellent value for money. Thank you guys.

Klint of Compbrake sells top mounts that don't fit the cars they are advertised to fit. He manufactures them symmetrically for cars that require asymmetrical design. He will stop answering your customer service enquires when proven wrong, and will not accept returns for his falsely advertised products. Avoid.

I can only say that I have only had a positive experience with Compbrake.
I previously ordered a custom fuel tank from them around 18 months ago that was built to my specs. The results where superb and better than I could have expected. This tank is now up for sale as I have had them build a new one to my specs again.
My requirements changed and adanced and knowing what they can do I did a redesign. I offered two options and I went for the biggest one.
This tank has arrived today and is perfect. All precisely to my dimensions and it will further increase my range.
Yes these tanks take longer than a standard one to make but you can't fault the quality and service.
If you want something different, do a clear drawing and send in your request, you wont be disappointed.

Really happy with the service and support Compbrake and Klint specifically gave in helping me sort out a custom made Aluminium fuel tank for my van. The service was excellent and the tank perfect. Highly recommended.

I was on the Ebay page and saw these Fixed TOP mounts for my Fiesta Mk1. The page also offered *optional 1 degree negative camber. Then I thought, I want them to earn all the money themselves for developing these, so I orderered on their website. Wrote that I wanted the optional 1 degree negative camber. After a long time they finally arrived. Workshop then put them on for me and told me that there was no negative camber. Then Klint just totally blew me off and stopped answering me. I actually sent them an email before the workshop ever got them in their hands too, to check if they sent the correct ones. No answer from them. Never buying anything else from this company. Scammers, in my opinion.

Had a large fuel tank made and certainly picked the right people to make it for me. Fantastic service and the quality of workmanship is brilliant. Can not thank this company enough. Very polite staff and nothing is any trouble.

Compbrake Motorsport has a mix of strengths and weaknesses. Some customers appreciate their products and support, especially praising Klint for excellent service during product upgrades like the Big Brake kit for the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. Compbrake Motorsport has its ups and downs. I bought a Big Brake upgrade kit for my Ranger Wildtrak and found the support from Klint excellent. The brakes improved the truck's performance significantly, particularly for towing. On the other hand, there are issues with their customer service. One buyer had trouble with a brake kit that wasn't as promised and didn't receive responses to emails. Another had issues with payment and shipment that weren't resolved. Compbrake showed great service for another customer's fuel tank order, but troubling experiences suggest caution is needed. Mixed experience overall.

Purchased Big Brake upgrade kit for my Ranger Wildtrak. Great support from Klint at Compbrake. The upgraded front brakes have transformed the truck. We tow caravans and heavy boats, we now have no brake fade and excellent braking not to mention they look awesome. Would recommend these brakes for anyone one who needs performance brakes at a great price.

Fantastic car but brakes the weak link on the Hyundai i30n and decided to get a full BBK (big brake kit) as car is going to Nürburgring for season.
Motorsport team I use suggested Compbrake who at the time didn’t have a BBK for the i30n but designed and manufactured one in approx 4 weeks at a competitive price a lot cheaper than others making kits for i30n

Did my first track day with them at Anglesey and what can I say, they are absolutely unbelievable and 2 pro drivers out with me that day commented how good brakes are

They also designed them to fit both my 18 and 19 inch alloys so no spacers required so overall great brakes and service

Ordered a pair of custom made brake discs sent a drawing etc items never received kept calling never called back said the discs would come in soon had to claim money back from credit card company dreadful service .

Recently fitted their new big brake kit for the Jaguar XJS range. Highly impressed with the quality, very easy to fit and competitively priced.

I bought a set of disks and bells over the phone, the guy was helpful and assured me that he could supply them in the time frame i needed which i think was within a couple of weeks, sure enough they arrived in the required time, unfortunately the bells were missing. so that same day i phoned and was told that they would send them out asap. I waited about 10 days to give them the time to sort it but no parts arrived, at this point it was well past when i needed so it was already a huge fail for me. Nevertheless i emailed and eventually i got a reply saying that they had sent the parts but they had some issue with the courier but they would be sorting it. Several more weeks passed and nothing so i emailed again and this time no reply, followed up again with another email after several more weeks and no reply again, it seems that they are completely refusing to supply the rest of the parts which i have paid for. It astounds me that people choose to run their business this way and surely it would be easier just to send the parts that you have taken money for or if you cant supply them say that, instead they have effectively committed fraud? Its now six months and im stuck with brake parts i cant use £800 worth! I wish i had read the reviews before ordering there are far too many negative reviews reputable companies just don’t have them. I would not use this company again and i would urge all car enthusiasts to find a different company its just not worth the hassle and loss of cash and stress, save yourself some hassle and dont bother. AVOID AVOID AVOID, you have been warned….

I have just received a pedal box and all the ancillaries for a mk1 Audi S3 which is destined for the track. I contacted Klint to ask a few questions about pedal ratio and initial master cylinder sizes. As always , he was extremely helpful . I placed to order yesterday and 24 hours later it arrived.
I am very impressed with design and engineering of the pedal box, and delighted with the service . It will be a bit tricky to fit but that is because to remove the old servo, the engine has to come out ( God bless Audi )
