Code update class 2020
Code update class 2020. This is probably the second or third time having to take this code update on 2020,I have had the privilege to be a electrical inspector for 6-7 years, most master electricians (tested) don't know the basics, I know this is a code update class, questions can be looked up on a phone today on topics that most if not all electricians will never do,The instructor Pedro was like all my instructors was excellent. I'm not sure why a national electrical code is't adopted nationaly, here in new england we are on 2023 and 2026. To add to the problem states and town have excemptions, Some of the students are sharp, most sit in a daze. Update was good better than most thank you George Newton

All I got to say is don't even bother…
All I got to say is don't even bother taking the online class it's completely not worth it. I took the Home Improvement contractors test they probably covered about two or three questions on the entire 55 question test
Only reason I didn't completely flunk was because I highlighted and tabbed everything and went through it myself. The highlighting and the tabs are worth it for the books but I absolutely do not recommend wasting your time on the online class. Total waste of money and not to mention some of the material on the online course is outdated

I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the online class, and I understand your frustration. I do want to clarify that we do not have access to the exact questions and answers that will appear on the actual exam. The testing center does not provide that information, and there are multiple versions of the exam in circulation. While we may cover similar question styles and the same subject areas you’ll see on the exam, we will not have the exact same questions or the same answers word-for-word.
Our goal is to prepare students to test successfully by teaching them how to navigate the approved books efficiently so that, during the exam, they can locate the correct information and find the answers to the questions being asked. Strong book navigation and lookup skills are a key part of passing an open-book exam, and we’re glad the highlighting and tabbing strategy helped you on exam day.
Regarding your concern about outdated material, we take that seriously. If you’re willing, please contact our support team with the specific sections you believe are outdated (and the edition of the books/exam you tested under), and we’ll review it with our content department and make updates as needed.
