I really like CopyBet

I really like CopyBet. I ignore all the following others tips, so can’t comment on that. I just use it like a normal bookie and have had zero negative experiences with them so far. Their best odds guaranteed offer is the best out there, think it’s from final declarations onwards, none of this from 10am on day of the race nonsense like most UK bookies. I highly recommend CopyBet, and was not incentivised at all to say this.

I registered with this site after I had…

I registered with this site after I had already enrolled with GamProtect, as I was unaware that the operator was part of this scheme at the time. Upon discovering this, I immediately requested that my account be closed and that any deposits be refunded, as I believe this constitutes a regulatory breach.

Despite making several requests, I have yet to receive a meaningful response. My account has been frozen but not formally closed as requested, and the matter remains unresolved. I would appreciate a clear update on the status of my request as soon as possible.

15th April Update still nothing heard no meaningful response. I will be escalating this matter shortly. Please give a meaningful response to this matter it’s been two weeks. I would recommend staying away from this site

UPDATED: Got money back

I changed this review as when I wrote it I had deposited £20 and was unable to withdraw it or make contact with support, leading me to believe their support was non-existent. I was only able to get this sorted by leaving this review, I now have my money back but won't be using CopyBet in future.

My account was restricted immediately after depositing due to a discrepancy between the name on my account and the name on my bank account, I've no complaint about this its understandable that I would need to send additional ID, however I sent at least 5 e-mails from two different devices and two different accounts and none seemed to get through whatever e-mail filters CopyBet use, and the only method of contact available is e-mail.

They responded once I left a review here letting me know that they had not received any emails but had seen my review. I believe the support staff are decent enough but CopyBet really need an alternative method of contact, most bookmakers have a reasonable web chat that will actually put you in touch with a human, CopyBets chat bot merely repeatedly instructs you to send an e-mail. They could also offer the ability to raise a support ticket from within the app, or provide a phone number which unfortunately seems to have gone out of fashion.

Generally the website is good however when I used it today there were no live streaming of the horse racing, I was last online on the site on Monday 23rd March and the streaming was OK then,I don't bet on anything I can't watch so I withdrew my balance.

I opened an account and deposited…

I opened an account and deposited money. They then locked my account and asked that I send them a copy of my bank card, which I did via email. I have had no response to any of the emails I have sent to support, so my money is stuck in their account. Awful awful company. Will have to tkae further action to recover my money as they never reply to any emails.

The app is completely dysfunctional

The app is completely dysfunctional, I have tried to sign up, but the allow access button doesn't work at all (even though I have my GPS switched on) so I can't even sign up. And if you can't sign up you can't contact them. Totally useless and user unfriendly app in every way. Try a different bookmaker instead!

Deposit not credited for 8 hours.

I have updated to three stars as below now at least resolved albeit a worry it happened in first place and still one or two issues.

I have been betting for about 40 years.

For the first time ever a deposit I made which has left my bank and posted as complete/successful within a bookies site has not been credited.

It has been one fiasco after another since I decided to try a new bookmaker having been a customer of one of the big boys for many years.

**Update**

Funds finally credited 8 hours or so after I deposited them!! No apology or explantion as to why there was a delay - just email to say now available!!

Also bizarre each time I make a deposit have to enter full card details - someone called William told me this was due to safer gambling reason!! (I kid you not)

Terrible dont waste your time.

Been a customer for a while never had any real problems the app is slow and doest update quick compared to others. Always provided docs when requested IE bank statements, ID etc however this time when I did a withdrawal they requested proof of income again and asked for 1 months bank statement. Whilst I provided this and they reviewed it my account was suspended and withdrawal not given. Days go by nothing then they tell me the need 3months bank statements. Again I provided them (these clearly show my wages from my employer of 10year). Wait longer withdrawal and account still on hold. Multiple follow up emails i send just get told to wait while they are reviewed. Very frustrated I tell them I will report them, couple of days later get the withdrawal. Couple of days after this received an email saying my account is closed without reason. Joke of a company
