We recently held our Charities Staff Training Day at the facility and the day was superbly hosted, from start to finish. Over 40 of our staff enjoyed the feel of the venue, the outstanding catering and the variety of activities to finish off the day.

We were able to use the Dance Studio for presentations and workshops, which has plenty of natural light.

I would highly recommend and we will be back!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Reuben from Courtside to lead a series of fantastic tennis workshops at school. Over the course of the morning, he worked with 150 children—and every single one of them absolutely loved it. Reuben engaged everyone, from our most confident athletes to those who sometimes find PE more challenging. By the end of each session, every child was smiling, proud of what they’d achieved, and had developed a new skill. There’s now a real buzz for tennis throughout the school. Thank you so much for an inspiring visit!

I truly enjoy both the group coaching and one-to-one sessions here. They’ve not only helped me improve my skills but also introduced me to many new friends who share a passion for tennis.

Reuben was incredibly friendly and full of energy — he made me fall in love with the sport! His lessons were very professional, and he always encouraged me, which gave me the confidence to keep playing and improving quickly.

I took Reuben’s one-to-one coaching throughout last year and really enjoyed it. It’s a pity he’s no longer coaching this year, but I’ve also joined Charlie’s sessions this year and found his teaching excellent as well.

Our lessons have been going on for many years & have now come under the Courtside umbrella. Our coach (Rachel) is excellent & the lessons are always enjoyable & fun. The new courts are a huge improvement on the old courts & the cafe helps us finish out sessions with a social coffee & chat.
The only negative is the scramble to get a booking when the dates are released.

I would give 5 stars for coaches and courts but why stop classes for adults during the summer? Do we cease to exist in the summer? Please reinstate especially the weekend ones.

Had my second tennis coaching session at Courtside and this time with Reuben and it was great! He’s super friendly, energetic, and made me feel really welcome. I’d definitely love to have more sessions with him in the future.

Really enjoying Cardio and Drills and Skills sessions. I like the different strokes and positions we use and feelings a bit fitter! Fun, interactive and exciting. Highly recommend the sessions to improve and get fit.

I really enjoy my weekly beginners classes at Alexandra Park with Jose - it is a friendly group with an excellent coach, and we have learned a lot over the year so far.

I have been doing a weekly tennis class with Courtside at Bury Knowle Park in Headington. The coaches are excellent, the classes well organised, and the environment, with café adjacent, is brilliant. I shall continue to try to improve my tennis in this sociable and encouraging setting.

Reuben and team are fantastic. They make the sessions fun and inclusive. My little boy Charlie has been going on a Saturday morning at Millhouses Park and he is progressing fantastically and really enjoys it!

The price is very affordable, especially for the quality of coaching provided. The sessions are run professionally but still feel fun and welcoming. The coach really takes the time to support everyone.

Ruben is the best coach ever! The courtside app is so easy to use and they reschedule bookings promptly if you're ill. Ruben is amazing as a coach and it's great to improve so much in the sun

My son really enjoyed the sessions. The coaching was excellent, and he got along well with the other players.

Louie is coached by Ben and it’s done wonders for his confidence and ability. Louie has autism and Ben is the perfect coach for him, knowing how far to push him and how to get the best out of him. The events organised by Ben, Jamie and Gary have been brilliant, Louie feels confident and supported, and it’s been great experience for him as a young player. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been really enjoying the intermediate tennis coaching sessions at Florence Park on Fridays, led by Simon. The sessions are well-structured, fun, and always challenging in the best way. Simon is a fantastic coach – clear in his instructions, encouraging, and great at tailoring feedback to each player’s needs. My game has definitely improved, especially in terms of consistency and tactics. Highly recommend to anyone looking to build confidence and develop their skills in a supportive environment!

Thank you Reuben for a great coaching session! I really enjoyed all the activities he had planned. They were fun and you could really see the progressionfrom one to the other. Reuben's explanation of how to serve was a game changer for me as I'd never properly managed it before.

I joined the beginners’ coaching, and that time quickly became my favourite hour of the week. It was a great motivation for me to be surrounded by kind and supportive people, which helped me become more familiar with and grow to love tennis — especially as someone without much experience in tennis.
