Crazy Egg Avis 

Crazy egg is actually a very user friendly platform to use. It has doable options for integrations with certain website platforms (even including Wix, which was a surprise to me). It's free version includes live site updates, user behavior, industry measure rates, and even allows you to create a heatmap for certain pages! Very useful with general website info and I can see it being integral for checking analytics if you don't have anything set in stone yet for tracking.

Good features and insights

Tool does what it's supposed to do. The AI summary of heatmaps, recordings and feedback works surprisingly well.

I work for a large national charity in the UK - we use Crazy Egg mainly for heatmaps showing user behaviour on landing pages which gives us invaluable insight into how they're performing. There are a whole host of other handy features too though. The visualisations really help to bring the data to life and help me to explain performance and optimisations to non-technical colleagues. Highly recommend.

We have been using Crazy Egg for many years. Any time we launch new campaigns we use this tool to track heatmap data, customer engagement and click behavior. The tool is very simple to use and gain quick learnings to help empower our marketing efforts. Would recommend to any digital marketer.

Terrible customer service. Also, if you don't know enough about programming or coding don't worry about this. It will tell you your website has errors, but if you have no technical knowledge, there's no point. Try asking them questions through customer service? Prepare to be dismissed! You are on a year-long subscription, you can't get a refund on. I regret buying this.

It's a horrible tool that uses fraudulent behavior to charge an annual subscription! I tested this tool, didn't really use it at all and now I was charged over 1100$ for an annual subscription I never wanted or opted in for. If there is no refund we will go the legal route - this is ridiculous!

Terrible, unprofessional support for a tool charging these kind of prices.

They let you subscribe for a monthly payment but by default they charge you the annual fee!!

This is a fraudulent behaviour if not a blatant scam!

Plus the app has some issues in tracking conversions and visits but the customer service always brings up some excuses for that.

I would recommend to choose another app.

The worst support, not only does the agent lack the knowledge to provide support but they were also rude and disrespectful; at the end the agent was like: You know what go with another tool. Totally unprofessional.
Ps; That is not true, the script can be installed in our web, but the rep was too rude to care to explain. Doesn’t matter anymore, we are choosing another tool now.

BEST CUSTOMER SUPPORT I EVER SEEN
I was truly amazed by how responsive and professional CrazyEgg's customer service is. I subscribed for free trial and eventually forgot about it, so at the end of trial period I was charged for full year, according to agreement. I was a bit disappointed and cancel my subscription right away. Couple of days after I got contacted by support and after explaining my situation I got refunded, even that they don't do that according by their terms. Support was super kind and understanding. I will definitely use CrazyEgg in the future, if I'll be in need analytic software ☺️

I am very statisfied with crazy egg, it helps me to disvover things about my website that I did not know before, it would be really cool if the pricing would have been a little bit cheaper.
The free trial is pretty long and it gives you the possibilty to understand if it is a good product for you

A quick trial of the software and I'm impressed with the feature and functionality vs other providers eg HotJar.

Pricing is better than other similar products.

Also, one to mention is the ease of integration, all of which can be done via Google Tag Manager

Product is great but the application is glitchy and fails at many points. Otherwise a great experience.
