Pretty accurate, but not worth the price, compared to other brands.

Eley Tenex .22 LR Ammunition ELEY Tenex the world's most consistently accurate .22LR cartridge. With over 180 years of heritage and experience, engineering excellence is central to the success of ELEY Tenex. Our highly skilled engineers combine state of the art machinery with high speed electronic visual inspection systems and Six Sigma methodologies to produce the cartridges that have redefined .22LR accuracy across the world. The iconic flat nose projectile of ELEY Tenex is one of many innovations pioneered by ELEY engineers. As it cuts through the air its revolutionary design pulls the center of pressure forwards, aerodynamically stabilizing the projectile and increasing accuracy at the target. Precise manufacturing techniques form cartridge cases of uniform length from a tightly controlled brass alloy. This ensures each propellant charge burns in a controlled volume, delivering a consistent energy to each projectile. Each cartridge is checked by a suite of analytical processes including computer controlled visual inspection and finely calibrated measuring equipment, all overseen by our extremely precise and meticulous engineers. To achieve ultimate accuracy with ELEY Tenex, a shooter should test their barrel. While ELEY Tenex will offer unrivaled results as standard, matching the barrel and ammunition at our technical test ranges could make the crucial difference in a competition. Our advanced proprietary software provides a wealth of information on each test result, helping the shooter find the best lot for their barrel. Testing is highly recommended by the top shooters around the world and the results speak for themselves, with 14 out of 18 Olympic medals and every 2014 World Champion winning using selected ELEY Tenex. Key Features 14 out of 18 London 2012 Olympic medals were won using ELEY Tenex Patented flat nose technology like no other cartridge on the market Consistent release force for reliable results Lot testing of ELEY Tenex is available in the UK, Germany, and the USA Designed for Professional Elite Shooters Used for 50m Prone 50m 3 Positions 50m Free Pistol Benchrest Firearm .22LR Match Rifle .22LR Free Pistol bullet profile cartridge length bullet weight velocity energy lubricant Flat nose 25.4mm / 1inch 2.59grams / 40grains Muzzle : 331m/s (1085ft/s) Muzzle = 14.5 (Kg.m) / 104.9 (ft.lb) Beeswax-tallow 50m (55yds) : 303m/s (994ft/s) 50m / 55yds = 12.1 (Kg.m) / 87.5 (ft.lb) 91m (100yds) : 285m/s (935ft/s) 91m / 100yds = 10.7 (Kg.m) / 77.4 (ft.lb) The products offered for sale on this page can expose you to chemicals, including Lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Always a solid and consistent performer. I see folks getting great results from Tenex in matches where the competition is shooting Lapua X-Act. Tenex is significantly less expensive. As always, brand and lot testing will help you get the most out of your rifle.

It performed very well in a C4 57. I did not have time to test lot numbers, buying them off the shelf. at 50 yards about every third round made it to the bullseye. I shot this alongside other ammunition., the Tenex put the other ammunition to shame.

This another ammo I purchased to test in my B 14R. At 50 yards, my 5rd groups all fell within my half inch target. I was also comparing this ammo to the RWS 50. At 50 yards, there was little to no difference in the groupings. I am very impressed with how both brands of ammo grouped.

Wonderful product that did not shoot well on my Anschutz. May be good for yours. However the Eley Match performed excellent in my Anschutz.

It's TENEX!! Reliable, multiple lot options and good availability. Couple that with quick shipping and we have a winning combination. CZ 455 with Lilja barrel saw a serious improvement with a specific LOT, so I ordered a bit more!

Works well in my Rangemaster. As for all 22 rifles one must work out what works best for him and his rifle. 22 bench is a fickle game. 22 target is subject to some luck some time once one Applies discipline mechanics and practice. Tenx is a good way to start.

Stuff shoots great, i shot 6 five shot groups with my Christensen Arms 22 suppressed with 6 different ammunitions. The Eley out performed them all.

I think the Lapua is a little better, but that stuff is made of unobtainium.

I have been shooting Eley ammunition in predominantly Anschütz precision rifles since 1970. Having compared Tenex to other match grade ammunition from several manufacturers in standard and tuned barrels, Tenex has demonstrated superior accuracy and precision - even consistency between lots. It remains my preference for practice and competition. Sub 0.50 MOA groups are typical at 50 m and 100 yds. If your definition of "value" is superb accuracy and consistency, try Tenex in your rifles.
