Moving into Manhattan is a friggin' nightmare, but these movers handled the tight streets and elevator reserves like it was nothing. Not a single scratch on my walls or my furniture. Couldn't be happier.

Used these guys to move my stuff literally cross country (from cali to mass). I called around numerous companies, trying to find one who would ensure my goods were transported properly. Movers showed up on time, spent way more time than I expected packing/wrapping my stuff, and got a detailed list of the number of boxes and what was inside each box.

Arranged delivery day and time with ease, but when they arrived they stated my glass had shattered, and a couple of boxes were dented. I was naturally upset and so I informed the appropriate people and showed pictures of the broken items, and although it took a little bit of time to resolve, was satisfied with the resolution. At the end of the day, we are all humans and we all make mistakes. What separates good from bad are those who fix their mistakes vs those who dont. Major props to CCM for taking pride in their work and making sure their customers are happy.

I will have to move again at some point, but instead of spending hours calling around, I know who to call because I have faith in this company.

Cross Country Movers Group have changed all my perceptions about moving with a moving company. Due to some bad experiences I was terrified to use any company but their great reviews made me book them. And they were the best moving company I have ever worked with. They did everything in timely manner and carefully delivered everything to my new house. Highly recommended.

We hired CCMG to help us move from our townhouse to our new home in Orange County. We arranged everything pretty much over email, with just two quick phone calls for some follow up information and to give CC info. I thought this was going to be way harder compared to a local move but they made everything very customer friendly. Our move took 2 days, just as they had planned. The truck ended up arriving a few hours earlier than expected. This was the first time I've ever had my move finish earlier than expected. This was great. Pricing was very reasonable for the great service you get in return.

The only issues I've ever had with movers in the past is poor communication. Its very important to understand the rate and terms before doing business with any company and some movers are very bad at explaining things which leads to negative surprises. before choosing this place I asked numerous questions and they explained the terms over the phone and sent me an email going over them. I knew exactly how much I was going to spend and that made this experience way better. Move out was on time, move in was very close to the estimated time. They honored every bit of our agreement and above/beyond to make sure I was happy with the service provided. I definitely was and still am.

We surfed a lot of online reviews and in the end of the day settled with these guys. Our of state move required moving out of our loft apartment and moving everything out of our storage unit a half mile away. So the movers had to make two stops. Even with the additional location we were still charged as one move they just combined our inventory from both locations into one. They did a really good job taking care of our things and being care with furniture that was a little more fragile than other items. Both the moving team and customer service were very outgoing and easy to talk to. Working with people you really get along with makes a world of difference. The was about the only move I've ever done where I can say I actually didn't feel too stressed out at all.

Not my first time moving to a new state but my first dealing with a moving company where literally nothing went wrong. In the past it's been a late start time, something got damaged or hidden fee. This was a completely no drama move from a friendly hardworking staff. They didn't put a damper in my day. They made the move easier and never tried to pull a fast one on me. Good move from start to finish.

The only real issues I've had with movers is with communication. When things aren't communicated correctly then everything can go wrong. You get a rate that you didn't expect because some hourly fee wasn't mentioned, the start time is delayed because the time window wasn't properly explained, something gets damaged and isn't covered because I didn't want insurance but didn't know they had insurance as option. I think you get it. None of that nonsense went on when dealing with CCMG. Every detail was explained, put in writing, emailed to me and made simple. Got all my questions answered right off the bat. That's what made this move a good one.

I started planning last minute and was worried all the good moving companies would be fully booked. Cross Country was able to accommodate my needs with a limited about of time and certain requirements by my building. Since I live in high rise I had to go by the buildings availability for the elevator instead of when the moving company was free. Cross Country switched around appointments so the move could work for the elevator time frame. I can't think of any other company that would do that. They really know how to go above and beyond for their customers. From the movers to the customer service. This is one solid group.

With their help on packing and some great movers everything showed up without a scratch. Moving is something I used to dread but with companies like this around now moving seems so much more manageable. They looked out my things and respected both old place and new place. They worked clean, quick and were very polite. I noticed they paid attention to details. They saw a few boxes unlabeled, asked me the contents and then labeled them.

The attention to detail extended all the way to the bill, which broken down so you could clearly understand the rates. Thanks Guys

I started off on their website and submitted the moving request form. Then I jumped to a few other sites as well while I was at work. I'm not big on long phone calls so I wanted to get as much info as I could before talking on the phone. Cross Country was the first to get back to me. They were confident but not pushy over the phone. Rates were within in budget but slightly higher than what I was hoping. I wasn't too surprised though because they have good credibility online. I thought on it for a day., spoke to some not so professional other moving companies and then confirmed on using Cross Country. Glad I did because they really took the stress out of the situation by helping me do some packing and get everything in gear for a proper move. No complaints, thumbs up.

Realistic quote and top notch moving service

The response when I first contacted them was very good. They gave us a realistic quote. A price that would not be lower than the real price but most likely higher just to be on the safe side. I had good feeling that we weren't going to get hit with any last minute changes so I booked with them without a problem. The moving crew was excellent - they wrapped all of our furniture well and packed the truck so that not a single item got broken or damaged. We've already recommended them to friends who are moving in the near future.

We moved our two bed room, two bathroom home of 10 years with cross county movers and couldn't be happier on how they treated us. The only nerve wracking part of the whole moving ordeal was weeding out the scammers from the legitimate companies. After weeks of planning, emailing, phone calls and online chats we found the company we wanted to work with. We gave Cross Country full control and trust over a significant move for us. Our research ended up paying off, they didn't let us down one bit.

So I rented a very large Uhaul and didn't need help with my actual move but my girlfriend and I both were working extra shifts to make up for the money spent on putting a down payment on a house. So we needed help with packing and getting things in the Uhaul. It was annoying seeing that most places don't do just packing and lifting. They want you to book a full move with them or nothing. It was starting to get real frustrating. When we finally started calling a few more places cross country actually said yes that's fine and gave us a custom rate that was very affordable. After getting the run around from so many traditional moving businesses it was nice to find a place that was cool about doing things the way we wanted them done. Instead of us having to go by their guidelines.

Was very stressed out about how I was going to handle this move. I weeded through quite a few companies until I crossed paths with CCM. They offered everything I needed. Packing and unpacking. All the heavy lifting. And lots of organization. It was basically paying for stress relief. Their prices were mid range. Not overly priced but no cheap by any means. The quality of the movers were top notch. All of them arrived early and handled the furniture so well. Wrapping things with blue blankets they brought so nothing would be scratched in anyway. Met them at my new place in New York. They calculated the arrival time pretty well. The whole thing was well organized. You could tell they had done this before.

We got lucky finding this place. During my first phone call with Cross Country I went over the majority of what needed to be moved and also that we had a few things we were still deciding if we wanted to move or sell. I was later informed that we could use their storage facility free of charge for a month if needed. Ummm... Yup! We definitely took full advantage of that. We put a coffee table, bar stools and some some shelving units in our free storage unit and kept them there for a couple weeks until the move was done. Having the extra time to sell the stuff we didn't need anymore was perfect. It also saved us money not having to ship extra stuff.

I've been living in this horrible city called Los Angeles. For the past 4 years and it's time to get the hell out of this crowded and smoggy city! Ever since I visited Salt lake city Utah. I fell in complete love with the place. I knew that if I was going anywhere it would be in that magnificent city that I may call home. My lease was up, and I was ready, called up Cross Country movers down here in Los Angeles and told them to move me and my belongings to Salt Lake city, Utah and they said no problem and we got the project in motion! They showed up, got to work, and they were doine packing all of my belongings and furniture in no time. We hit the road and made it up to Utah ahead of schedule.Dealing with this moving crew was outstanding. I never had to tell them something twice, they knew exactly what to do and how to do it to ensure all my stuff made it to my new home safely! Great thanks to you all again for this help!

I've been in real estate for years now and the thing that people hate the most is the moving in process.
A client of mine purchased a beach house out west, since it was a large purchase I thought I would make the deal even sweeter for him so I promised I would assistant him in the moving process.
He needed lots of furniture shipped and he wanted it finished within 3 weeks because the weather was started to get cold. I found cross country movers online and it looked like people have had some good experiences with them so I gave them a call and went through the motions.
Their rates were fair and they didn't mess around with pricing so I decided they were best suited for the task at hand. This moving company got the job done in good timing, helped do some of the packing, was attentive to details and no noticeable damage occurred during unpacking. I would have no problem using them again if needed.

Although my move wasn't really "cross country" they did a good job with getting my stuff
to Wisconsin from Chicago.

Movers worked quick and were super detailed. They opened up some of the boxes I had already packed because they wanted to label everything for me so the unpacking would be easy. Great idea on their part. Haven't seen a group of movers really go the extra mile like these guys did. They made unpacking go by much quicker knowing which room to put each box in. It's the little touches that really made this business stand out.
