Very disappointed based on previous experiences, turned up in an unbranded box had been bashed about and the Donuts inside stale and dry, complained and got a second box exactly the same. What a shame... Voir plus
My partner has an egg allergy and we struggled to find bakers that cater for allergies. We have crosstown regularly and found out they do tiered doughnuts, so this is as a non brainer for our wedding.... Voir plus

Crosstown is an award-winning scratch bakery. We roll our dough by hand.
We make all of our jams, compotes, fillings, glazes and toppings in-house, fresh every day, using the finest ingredients we can find to deliver real, honest flavour.
It’s a lot of extra work, but we believe the results speak for themselves.
Quality should never be compromised no matter the quantity, although both can exist at the same time.
We think our doughnuts pair perfectly to specialty coffee, which is why we serve them together where we can.

Favourite flavours no longer available
The first time I had crosstown doughnuts, they had 2 amazing flavours. Matcha and almond butter. I bought often. Now they have none of these. Quite disappointing.

Thank you for reaching out to us! I am so happy to hear that you were a fan of our previous flavours, but I understand the upsetting factor of expecting these flavours and they not being available. Our brilliant head chef at Crosstown is always mixing up new flavours in the bakery, and we are constantly switching out flavours. That being said, it does not mean that old flavours will not return in the future again, we are just stepping aside to shine the spotlight on something new.

Easy to order the evening before and delivery came first thing the following morning. Really pleased they have a vegan donuts.. ! My only wish is that all the donuts were vegan.

Delicious donut tower for wedding
We had a Crosstown doughnut tower at our wedding rather than a cake and our guests loved it! Darcie was super helpful during the organising process and Crosstown delivered a really delicious range of doughnuts. Thanks again!

Disappointing!
I always loved Crosstown since it was introduced to me. I ordered few times and never had any issues until my wedding day when they missed the tier stand for the doughnut tower. I cannot believe how much chasing and waiting I had to do just to get refund for the stand. It’s a shame that I no longer feel comfortable in ordering from Crosstown anymore.

Very nice event!
Everything was great! All the people who attended our event enjoyed the ice cream, doughnuts, and shakes! Peter, the driver and main helper was amazing! He made the event very smooth and helped us when we needed

Disappointing compared to what I've had from Crosstown before
Ordered a doughnut and cookie selection box for deliver. 5 of the 6 items were vegan which I thought was a little odd given this was not a vegan box. The texture of the doughnuts was a little chewy compared to what I've had from Crosstown before - not sure if this was because they were vegan or due to transport, or they were just a little stale

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am so sorry to hear that this experience you had with Crosstown was not the same as it has been in the past. We strive to make the experience better than the last, and I am saddened to hear in this scenario it was not the case.
Crosstown is set apart from other high street or supermarket doughnut brands by the premium quality ingredients that we use, as well as the hand crafted nature of our treats. Every doughnut, glaze and compote is freshly made each day, by a member of our fabulous scratch bakery team, at our site in Battersea. They tend to have a slightly different texture from most other doughnuts, due to the signature Sourdough base for which we are famous. This tends to offer a weightier, more bread like finish, which could have been the reason they weren't quite what you were expecting. I'm sure it will be incredibly disappointing for our team of lovely bakers to hear that the product crafted by themselves, for you, was not enjoyed, but will forward this feedback onto the bakery team for their review.

Crosstown were amazing!
Crosstown were amazing! They were one of the caterers at our 2023 Commemoration Ball at Oriel College, Oxford. As advised by the Crosstown team, we ordered the dough bites which were the perfect size for guests to enjoy as well as mitigating food waste. All the dough bites were delicious, the team were friendly and prompt, the marquee looked very professional and everything ran smoothly. Would highly recommend for big events!

I placed an online order after trying to…
I placed an online order after trying to grab some doughnuts from the Fenchurch street store without luck, as they said they were fully sold out at 2.30pm (while they are open until 5pm). The outcome of the order was a similarly big disappointment: I could place the order for pickup, I was charged, but an hour later, I got a phone call to let me know they ran out of doughnuts. Then I received an email that my order was successfully fulfilled. I love Crosstown doughnuts, but apparently, there are serious issues across their stores and even the online shop. I hope they read these reviews and take the necessary steps and hopefully they can regain my trust sometime in the future...

I am sorry to hear that you had an unfortunate experience with our online ordering system, as well as in shops over the weekend. Due to the festivities on Saturday, I know a lot of our central shops were extremely busy, and difficult to keep the products on the shelves (which is never a bad thing, except when trying to make an order).

Did not deliver on the date promised. Delivery ended up being the following day, and only with the help of the delivery company, not you!
Apparently, the doughnuts were delicious, though.

Thank you for reaching out to us and leaving this review. I am so terribly sorry to hear that your recent delivery was not made on the correct date and you were not notified from us. We would love to be able to use our in house delivery team to safely delivery all orders, but unfortunately we are unable to do so. We rely on external couriers to delivery our national orders, and most of the time are extremely reliable, but unfortunately with this, there must have been some miscommunication that your order was not successfully delivered on the correct date, and that I am extremely sorry!
