If i could give them zero i would....
I bought an aud $1300 dress it was too big so i ordered a smaller size.. The dress is gorgeous although perhaps not quite the quality to match the price.

The customer service is absolutely appalling i have written to them 7 times over several weeks as the process for an international return is to email the company who will then manually grant a return. They will not respond with the address or an approval for an international return. They sent me just one reply citing the domestic return process which does not work internationally..

They clearly did not read the content of my email..

Now i am stuck with an extra of this expensive dress i will have to attempt to resell.. Not a seller to be trusted....

Bags with quality issue being sent. My store discount cupom didn’t work, sent an email and never got a response. Also, they charge you for returning items that is defective. Do not recommend.

Europe. Did not fit and wanted to send back. On the website on the page of the item and during ordering it only stated that for international returns customer service would have to manually approve the return. It did not state that I have to send the item back DDP!!!!! As a reference that costs between 350-500€ just for returning the item. I wrote customer service, takes days to respond.

How can you in these modern times expect customers to return goods internationally for 500€???? That is half of the item cost!!!!!!!!!

If there was anything less than 1 star, I would HAVE GIVEN THEM. THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS. THEY SAID THEY HAVE SENT MY REFUND, BUT AFFIRM SAID THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. RUN RUN RUN. I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM.

I just wanted to leave this review as I was very sceptical to order directly from Cult Gaia’s website as a result of reading the reviews on this page. I have been a lover of the brand for years but have only purchased from third party retailers located in the UK as that is where I am based. However I placed an order on Cult Gaia’s website for their new Florence clutch in ivory on the 17th of may it is now the 22nd and the clutch has arrived in perfect condition with no extra customs/import duty fees!. So for those worried about reviews on this page remember opinion is subjective and not all experiences will be a negative.

Customer service email attempts: May 6, May 7, May 8, May 9, May 10. No reply. No response. No acknowledgment.

I ordered a $600 dress from Cult Gaia, it didn’t fit well, so I immediately returned it. Two months later they reach out to me via email saying the dress is damaged and that I will not be given a refund. The email was riddled with spelling and grammatical errors so I initially thought it might be fake but the charge for the returned item remains. I’ve been given no proof of the damage. They would not address if the return package appeared damaged from transit. If the dress actually is damaged, it must have happened in transit or while sitting around in their warehouse (or wherever they store returns?) for two months. I tried to reason with them - I am a long-time customer and have spent a lot of money on their products. I’ve never had issues with returns before, have bought plenty, assured them I didn’t attempt to wear/return the item, etc. to no avail. I’ve never experienced such abysmal, unfair customer service with a business before. Do not give them your business.

This has to be the worst shopping experience I ever had. I purchased a $1100 coat that looked like a luxury item. When the coat arrived there were glaring defects. The size was not true to American size and ran very small. The coat was so snug, I could not close my arms. The design looked like a knock off version of what the photo showed online. The worst part was that the coat had a strange factory smell as it it had toxic chemicals on it. When I reached out for a refund, I was offered store credit. DO NOT BY ANYTHING FROM CULT GAIA.

I bought a pair of sandals and a dress and received a blouse. It is almost impossible to communicate with customer relations. They do not respect delivery times, they do not respect customers. Wasted money :-(

Truly deeply deficient customer service. I placed an order for several dresses, and while waiting on them to ship, I found the dress available at a big box retailer for 25% off. I sent over a message to customer service, asking if they'd price match. They refused and literally told me to shop at the big box retailer. Why? How dumb is this? Why can't you just refund me the price difference? Now I'm going to waste a ton of time to return an item to the brand just so I can buy it from a third-party. I intentionally shop directly from brands to avoid spending $ with a middle man, but there's no reason at all to shop directly from CultGaia. Their customer service reps can't apply an ounce of critical thinking and problem solving skills.

The worst company ever ! I ordered a pair of earrings online back in May 2024. They were very heavy and pulled on my ears. I reached out to the company to see if I could return or exchange. After many emails I finally got one back saying that they “ would do me a favor and I could return the earrings for a store credit
I sent them back properly, the problem is that it’s end of December and I never got a store credit as promised.
I have once again emailed them multiple times and now they won’t even reply.
Buyer be ware they are not a good company to deal with. I will never buy from the again

Do not order from this site. They don’t fulfil the shipping time, so item didn’t arrive in time. And even if it did, you cannot return if you order internationally.
Customer service do not reply and there is no contact number to phone. DO NOT ORDER. I have lost £710

I bought a $716 wedding top a month before my wedding from Cult Gaia. When the item arrived it started fraying almost immediately. Within 4 days of arriving, every edge on the top was frayed.
When I reached out to support it took 2-3 weeks (5 emails back and forth with many days before I got a response from them). When I didn’t get a response to my 4th email my wedding day had almost arrived, so I called a physical store (a flagship store in LA) and they got customer support to follow up with me within a couple of hours.
But after all that back and forth of them asking for me to send them photos of the top and describe the issue in detail, the last email to me said “we can’t help you, fraying is expected for this style”.
To be clear: nowhere on their webpage where I added the item to my cart was it mentioned “fraying was expected with this style”, nor was there fraying in any of the advertised photos—I took plenty of screenshots for evidence in case any issues came up in the charge back process.
Cult Gaia may have beautiful clothes, but they are a terribly managed company that you shouldn’t trust if you’re looking for a seamless customer experience. I will never buy anything from this store again.

I've bought 2 bags from CG. (One a sale item, the other full priced). I live in Australia so it's international. They've come fast and both been in perfect condition. I've used them several times and am now obsessed with this brand!

Terrible experience received a bag for my bday last month from a friend . The bag is already rusting and customer service refuses to help me. Read below- I was gifted this keep in mind

I was hoping I could send the screenshots. Of the email chain but no images allowed but trust what I’m saying.

If I could give them a zero I would. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They don’t have a phone number to talk to anybody. I think it’s a robot that answers the email because it just says the same thing each time. I returned a pair of shoes and asked for a gift card. It’s been a couple weeks. Still haven’t got the gift card. And when I email them, I just get the same response. I Finally found a person at a store to talk to named Karly who actually was the most helpful through this process. I love CULT GAIA, clothing, shoes, purses, and accessories, but now I’m super hesitant to buy anything from them. I have literally emailed them 10 to 12 times and sometimes they just never answer for days. Probably better to buy stores instead of online as their customer service is zero! Very bad company. They should try to be more like Revolve, which makes everything so easy and their customer service is excellent 10 out of 10 for Revolve zero out of zero for CULT GAIA

As many other reviews here. NEVER Again. Cult Gaia just lost a loyal customer. I love their products however, some might not have the expected quality and fit. Then I purchased sandals online, I had to return because the quality wasn't great and it felt they will break with the first wear but also, I can't walk in the sandals, they very uncomfortable. The customer service is appalling the least. I asked if possible to return and they said I wouldn't be able to return because of final sale, however on the website is not clear! Also, UK consumer laws says that if the seller doesn't have physical presence to close proximity of your house and buy online, customer have the right to return no matter what as they can't assess the product in person! Once I sent them the UK regulations, they accepted my return, however, they told me I need to pay for return and duties. I kindly asked for them to generate a return label and deduct from refund, however, they said they can't generate international return labels! So, they can ship internationally but can't generate a label? The customer service is appalling and never again. Very disappointed!

Would give zero stars if there would be an option:
The recent experience was truly out of this world in terms of lack of customer-centric focus. After several follow-ups, I had to resort to posting on Insta just to get their attention.
Disappointed with my experience with Cult Gaia. Finally received my package after numerous emails, only to find it completely unpacked and lacking the quality I expected. Return policy SUCKS / non existent!

I bought a clutch from them for my wife’s birthday. Turns out Cult Gaia isn’t her style. I went to return the bag but the most they’ll give me is store credit no cash refund.

I don’t think it’s that much to ask for a refund for a product you’re giving back that’s untouched, in the box and bag with tags etc. it’s standard practice and good customer service.

Not offering a refund just screams that a business isn’t stable and grabbing at revenue where they can. Cause frankly it’s ridiculous.
