This company is trying to gain sympathy on social media and is cherry picking reviews from trustpilot to make themselves sound better. If you comment on these posts stating some orders are taking a year (or more) they delete your comment and block you. I found the account as I was hoping to order but based on the unprofessional behaviour alone I will not be - and of course everything else too!

My order came quicker than the expected turn around time and is absolutely perfect. Love it thank you!!

Ok Product for £10 but receiving end product was a very long wait.

Ordered on the 24th July and didn’t receive until 18th September: When I placed my order it stated the turnaround was 2 weeks, not 8 weeks as I waited.

I waited til 4 weeks to find out where my order is, I emailed and messaged on instagram and no reply.

The seller even went on holiday for a week despite my still not having my order and the same for many others😅

The end product is ok, smaller than expected, also got a text to say they ran out of a colour yarn I chose, didn’t get a response back.

Probably wouldn’t buy again nor recommend, sorry 😕

Placed an order in July via website, chased 7 weeks later as had received no communication my order was running behind schedule. Got a reply to say it’s because the owner had been on holiday even though my order should have been completed weeks before then. Asked for an estimated delivery date, 4 days later still hadn’t received a reply. Chased again and was told my order had been previously made however the wrong material had been used. Going by previous reviews and comments on social media posts I think it would be a great idea for curly characters to shut their books and catch up on all orders before promotions more deals and taking on new orders if ones from months ago haven’t been fulfilled. Asked for a full refund as I didn’t think I’d ever receive my order and I was given one.

It’s been 11 weeks, havnt received my order when I agreed to a 4 week turnaround. Messing around advertising new stuff on Instagram when she has lots of customers waiting for extremely back dated orders. Acts like she’s doing us a favour when she responds to messages when we have in fact paid for a service that we are not receiving and wonders why customers are rude. Comments on posts saying she can’t respond right now when she could just answer the question. Never dealt with someone so unprofessional that I’ve felt that I’ve had to warn others by leaving a bad review.

Avoid doesn’t send out orders con artist after seeing these reviews I’ve reported Chloe to HMRC i suggest everyone else does the same get her shut down

Never received my item, she picks and chooses which orders she fulfills!
Ignores emails and stops responding on social media. Honestly dread to think how much money she has scammed off people.

Absolutely beautiful sign and such a talented creation! It’s the perfect size, looks even more lovely in person, and was a very reasonable price. The item was exactly as clearly advertised, including the delivery times, which made ordering really straightforward. Communication throughout the order was excellent. I’m so pleased with it and would definitely recommend!

Paid for my order over a year ago,
I’ve sent multiple messages on instagram and email.
No refund and no product sent.

She is a con artist, makes a select few orders but keeps the majority of peoples money.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

If i could leave a 0 star review then i absolutely would. There had been no communication AT ALL from the seller, after waiting the stated ‘3 weeks turnaround time’, i reached out on multiple occasions to check the status of my order and each time i was blatantly ignored whilst the seller was still posting about ‘promotions’ and ‘offers’.
I sent a message stating i would be reporting them to tax fraud after reading multiple reviews of other customers waiting years and not receiving any refund or the order they had paid for. The seller finally reached out, probably in a panic as their bank statements will clearly show the proof, and stated i wouldnt need to take legal action as they’d send me a refund. I did receive my refund, along side a message asking me not to leave a ‘horrible review’ as it ‘wasnt fair’ because they refunded me. And at that point, i wasnt going to. Until i opened instagram to see the business had shared my message, stating that ‘offers and promotions’ attract the ‘worst kind’ of customers. Which is disgusting for a business to be writing about their paying customers anyways, but despite that i actually paid full price, so i’m unaware of how that one works.
Absolutely disgusting business, behaviour and customer service. Which is a massive shame really as their work is stunning.
If they cant keep up with the demand of orders they already have, or even have the time to simply reply to one message, then i don't know why they would keep posting promotions.
Every negative comment left under their instagram posts is deleted to make it seem like a reputable company, but it couldn't be further from the truth.
90% of reviews show this person is a fraud, and i’d be surprised if the ‘business’ is even real. They seem to only fulfil orders they can be bothered doing, and just pocket the money from the rest whilst completely ignoring people, or giving out crap excuses. Luckily i got my money back, but i would stay well clear as I’ve obviously been one of the luckier ones.

AVOID!! Scammer! Placed an order at the beginning of January 2026 & despite messaging me at the end of Feb to say she was making it but didn’t have the fabric I chose, I never received the item. I have text, emailed & instagram DM’d her multiple times and have been ignored every time. She has kept my money and never sent item. And then has the nerve to post sale items and can send asap! How many people has she robbed?! Absolute joke how she hasn’t been done for fraud! DO NOT BUY HERE!!

I ordered a beautiful name sign and rainbow from Curly Characters. I looked at other designs and specifically asked for a pastel rainbow pattern which I had seen someone else use - it was no issue at all the the finished items are stunning and really good quality! Thank you very much!

Made an order over 10 weeks ago and confirmed the order via Instagram dm to ensure the order and payment had been recieved. I did not recieve any email confirmation but chased the order multiple times after 10 weeks for it to be cancelled. Very disappointed in the lack of communication as I had no issues with my first order

Extremely happy with my purchase! It really has been the finishing touch to my baby's nursery. Each time I walk past his room, I see his bookcase set up with the "Once Upon a Time" wording created by this lovely small business and it truly makes me smile. Thank you so much for making this possible for our baby 📚🥹💚

Wish I had seen all these reviews before! I have reported to instagram that this is a fraud / scam account, takes your money and delivers no products. Criminal!

Scammer. Took my money and never sent the items- this was months and months ago. Reading all these other reviews shocked they are still getting away with it
Avoid!!

Purchased a Mother’s Day order on 17th February 2026, after seller confirmed the order would arrive by Mother’s Day. The order is still yet to arrive over 10 weeks later, even after emailing and sending numerous messages.
My little boy was so excited to give these gifts to his grandmothers for Mother’s Day. Very poor service!!!

Ordered beginning of December 2025 and paid for a rush my order service which has a turnaround of 1-2 weeks. I messaged on Instagram and was told that I’d have my order in that time. 5 months later, I still haven’t received my order. I have messaged, emailed, commented on her posts and I’m always ignored or my comment deleted. She clearly doesn’t want potential customers seeing how many people are probably chasing her for their orders. If she’s not able to complete customer orders then the least she can do is refund their money. She seems to have time to create bunnies and flowers to sell but not actually complete orders that people have paid for. Absolute joke! Please save your money and go somewhere else! You’ll never know if you’ll actually receive your order - from the reviews on here, some do get their order, they are the lucky ones.
