The cv creation tool is great and easy to use, although I had to pay to export. Also I couldnt add seperate pages but I ended up adding a custom section with empty spaces to create a seperate page
So easy to use! So much quicker than having to muck around with formatting. So easy with the template and great real time updating with the preview - this made my life so much easier!

Excellent tool, I have the paid for version as the free version is limited and did not have access to the sections I wanted. It is well worth the money! Strongly recommend!

Predatory billing and poor customer service
Predatory billing, have to pay for a free trial, used the service once and then was charged.

I was charged $39.95 NZD for a…
I was charged $39.95 NZD for a subscription I never knowingly signed up for. I only intended to make a one-time payment of $4.95 to download my CV. Their website was glitchy, I couldn’t access the trial features I paid for, and it took a day for their support team to fix the issue, by which time I had already used another service to meet my deadline and today they charged me for a premium service!!!!
When I contacted their support team, they refused to refund me, claiming that their policy only allows refunds within 7 days, even though the charge itself happened after those 7 days! That makes absolutely no sense and feels intentionally misleading.
This feels dishonest and very poor customer service.
Be very careful, misleading!! once they charge you, getting your money back seems impossible.

Misleading and Unhelpful
CVapp . nz/Resume . io auto-renewed my “free trial” into a paid subscription with no clear reminder. I asked for a refund right away and was refused. Support only replies at midnight NZ time, with copy-paste answers, zero flexibility, and hiding behind “policy” and a “right of withdrawal” clause. The product is fine, but the way they treat customers is not. Have been battling for a refund for a week now. Very dissatisfied with their service.
