I’ve tried this for Espressos and ‘Milkies’ in my semi automatic Gaggia machine. Very pleased with the results. I got the settings pretty much right first time, but I’ve tweaked them a bit, and I think you can get a few different very acceptable results from those beans, rather than only one, which is sometimes the case. Plenty of flavour, but no harsh edges or unwelcome flavours. Definitely one of the best Brazilian coffees I’ve had, will definitely reorder.

I loved the fondant and brownie beans so much, the instant the chocolate hazelnut offer came in to my inbox, I ordered a kilo, no questions asked. Proper “shut up and take my money” worthy coffee!

Having recently changed to decaff, I am testing several different beans. Both decaff beans from coffee works leave a pleasant after taste, unlike many that are bitter in taste and leave an even more bitter after taste plus a bad stomach. Excellent beans - will be ordering more shortly.

I am an amateur in the world of coffee, but if my words are of any help—this is the best coffee bean I have ever tried. Extremely smooth, with a rich, velvety texture. It creates a lovely crema that looks like a delicious dessert in itself. The chocolatey aroma and deep, indulgent flavour make every cup feel like a treat.

But be warned—your coffee consumption will increase. I’m now buying 2kg a month… and I don’t care.

Classic Italian Espresso Blend is a great any time of day bean the lovely aroma hits you as soon as you open the packet and continues to please when extracted be it as a espresso or a milkie.

Recently brought the ninja luxe and was unsure in which beans to used. I recently viewed Cworks YouTube videos on the Ninja Luxe and it was so descriptive and I learnt so much about my new coffee machine!! i thought I would give these beans a go …. WOOOOOW SO FRESH and DELICIOUS !!! Delivered so fast and they taste ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Can’t wait to order and try new! Thank you so much CWORKS! Will never buy shop brought coffee again!!!! X

Bought a new machine and watched videos on dialling in. We were still struggling to get great tasting coffee… thankfully this coffee has changed everything and we’ve not had a bad cup !

I ordered from coffee works because of Kev’s great YouTube video’s. Unfortunately the bag I ordered was not nice. After some discussion with Kev, he identified that I might have a bag with a rare been defect . He sent me a replacement bag free of charge of the same coffee and it was delicious.
It was a well handled situation.

Since discovering coffee works I don’t use anyone else, the quality of beans plus the quick efficient service is perfect!
I try to mix it up with trying different beans but always keep a bag of chocolate fondant blend in stock, it’s a great tasting bean, nice deep chocolate notes but has a decent kick too. I can’t recommend coffee works enough, the beans, the service and all the other great information on their site, it’s my ‘go to’ for all things coffee!

Lovely sweet chocolate coffee with fleeting high notes of coconut and large crema

Enjoyed this fruit and nut blend but if you’re new like me, stick to the Italian espresso blend until you get the hang of it. Fruit and nut just a little more tricky to dial in.

Great Coffee, good price and excellent assistance

Ordered 1kg of their chocolate brownie blend and it has become my favourite daily coffee since I got it. The beans were roasted on the same date that I ordered them so incredibly fresh beans!

Makes a delightful tasty Coffee
A very easy blend to use to make wonderful tasty coffee that has a mild easy chocolatey flavour. I use it in my Sage machine and it dials in easily - my recipe is 19gm beans / grounds and a ratio of 3:1 =. 57 liquid plus milk and we all love it,

Tried this as it was suitable for my bean to cup machine.... And absolutely loved it!

Its a well balanced and flavoursome coffee and will definitely be on my next order.

I've tried a few different coffee bean suppliers in the past and I can honestly say, The Coffee Works produces some of the best coffee around.

Beautifully balanced blend - an absolute winner!

I am at the beginning of my “freshly ground coffee bean” journey having just bought a Sage Barista Touch Impress, and these blended freshly roasted beans have been a real find. Both blends are delicious in their own ways. I prefer the Chocolate Brownie as it tastes slightly richer and rounder full bodied. I also tried the Classic Italian Roast blend and it was delicious but a bit edgier in flavour with a slight bitterness which I think is accurate to the description but not what my palate is looking for. I have ordered a kg of the chocolate brownie blend as that is the one which is producing the most pleasure at the moment.

Came on time, well packaged and very fresh. Roasted the day before.

I like this coffee, its an easy drinker; not an ounce of bitterness as a milky and actively makes you not want syrup if you are a regular syrup indulger. Easy to dial in, and very forgiving. This makes it great for cheaper grinders like the SGP.

Its not sophisticated, but that's the point. This is just a really nice, mellow coffee. This is a coffee anyone would like, straddles that line of dark traditional roast and medium variety. This would be the perfect coffee if you regularly have guests, especially ones who would not appreciate the notes of watermelon infused butterbeans with a hint of kiwi zest, etc. If you ever have those moments where you want a coffee, but you don't know if you want a coffee...This is the coffee you'd go for.

I feel that those who downvoted this based on its simple, safe and traditionally warming flavour may have missed the point of this particular roast.

I shall be recommending this one to my sister, who inherited my Barista Express, she will love this one.

Only thing I'd change, is it should come with a brownie.

I should also point out the service; getting deliveries here when I'm not home is a RIGHT pain, and living alone; its stressful knowing something is coming and will be left for anyone to take while I'm at work.

After ordering, i instantly got an email from them letting me know what day it would arrive. I responded saying this would actually be a bit of an issue and asked if it could be posted a little later, on the Wednesday; to arrive on Thursday as i would be home that day. Sure enough, this was facilitated without issue! No stress and my beans were still roasted the day before!

Great service is as important if not more than a great product.

I found Cworks just over 4 months ago when I bought my first home espresso machine and needed coffee beans.
I ordered on Sunday evening and received a message to say the beans had been roasted the very next morning and despatched. They arrived within 2 days.

Quick service, great selection of coffees to choose from (I'm slowly trying them all out and none of them have been found lacking at all!) and really well priced too, with introductory offers and regular discounts with their subscriptions.

I'm loving my latest batch of Bean to Cup blends. I certainly won't be going anywhere else for my Coffee beans in the future!
