I’ve had a great experience learning cybersecurity under Tom Sinclair. He is energetic and deeply passionate about the subject, which makes the material engaging from day one.

He is excellent at bringing cybersecurity to life by sharing real-world knowledge and practical experience, making complex concepts easier to understand and far more interesting. I went from knowing IT basics and no networking knowledge to landing my first Cyber security Job more or less in 6 months.

Whilst there was a lot to take in, Cyber coaching had provided a great learning environment to cover the needed subject and criteria and provided extra curricular tips and advice to help you get the edge in the competitive job market.

I had my first session with Tom on Saturday. The whole 8 hour session was great, very informative, and put me at ease with the course. I have a lot to learn but feel I have chosen the right place to learn how to make a career in cyber security.

This was not a small investment for me and I was a little concerned if it was going to be what I was seeking, that was more skills for when I rtn back to the US. For people, like myself, that do not come from a tech world, to have a person so engaging, and reliable is such a massive comfort and set me off on the right trajectory. I have just finished my first online class and I can report that not only were my positive feelings about this being the right thing for me to do, but also my cohorts seemed to feel the same way.
My biggest and most important comment that I think that I can make I think is for people that are a bit afraid of either the price or the fact that they do not have tech experience. This company gives you real world justification at every step, and things that you can understand. As a total beginner to everything IT I've been able to learn the fundamentals of basic IT components (how they work), networking and security, and this course has set a strong foundation for the future for whatever path I want to target in the future. Overall the cybercoaching team is doing a great job. Many times I asked for assistance and they got back to me. The course I took with them is definetely not in my wheelhouse. Despite that, the team extends their support and encouragement. They boost your moral. Kudos to you guys.

Enrolling in My Cybersecurity Course: A Life-Changing Experience

I recently enrolled in a cybersecurity course, and although I haven’t completed the entire program yet, I’ve just finished the first stage and earned my A+ certification. This milestone has already had a significant impact on my career. Thanks to the knowledge and skills I’ve gained, I’ve successfully secured my first job in IT as a Software Systems Analyst – a role I’ve been aspiring to for a long time.

Transitioning into the IT field was a major career change for me, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without the excellent guidance and resources provided throughout the course. The lectures have been thorough, engaging, and extremely supportive, helping me build the confidence I needed. Special shoutout to Laura T., who has been incredibly helpful throughout the process, always offering valuable feedback and advice when I needed it most.

If you’re looking for a well-structured course that helps you gain practical knowledge and take your first steps into IT, I highly recommend this program!

I started researching Cyber Security training providers back in July 2023 due to being unhappy in current role. Came across many suitable options but for some reason wasn't sold. Until I Found Optima-IT/Cyber Coaching and whilst they were far from cheapest, they certainly presented themselves the best with the greatest methodology. They provide you with the training, tools to self-learn, contacts, community of aspiring security students and knowledge to break into the Security industry.

Fast forward to June 2024 and I have just acquired my CREST CPSA certificate after studying day and night (quite literally) following this I also worked directly with Tom Sinclair from CyberCoaching doing 121 Teams sessions and chats throughout the day in the lead up to my exam.

Post exam I am still working with Tom to get my CV and LinkedIn updated to match my new skills and acquire that first role within the Information Security Management Sector.

The studies have not been easy but it has certainly been worth it, all made possible by CyberCoaching and the team. Looking forward to what the future holds now, me and my family thank you!

I embarked on my Cyber Security learning journey in December 2023 and have now completed all of the training courses provided.
