Cycrown Avis 60

This is less a review of the company and more of one of their products - the Cycverve All Terrain Ebike - which I recently purchased.
I'll start by saying this bike was a good deal, and it arrived reasonably quickly (I bought it from another dealership). It looks nice, goes fast, and came mostly assembled. Yay.
The reason I'm awarding four stars and not five is due to several gripes which have caused some frustration.
1) The front fender comes with zero instructions on installation. I'm not totally useless at putting things together, but the setup for this bike is not great. The fittings are not secure and do not hold the fender in place properly as is, no matter how tight you make the bolts. i.e. The piece that the bolt goes through to secure the fender to the frame is an elongated vertical hole which doesn't at all lie flush with the frame. The way it's set up forces you to bolt the fender through the bottom of this elongated slat, so every time you hit a slight bump, the whole assembly is able to shift, resulting in the fender hitting the tire and inevitably getting damaged. I had to get around this by physically bending the mounting fixture so it couldn't slide, and then zip-tying it in place for good measure.
2) The headlight also relies on the same fixture, and a single bolt to hold it upright, which doesn't help. So the front light also shifts to the right whenever a few bumps in the road come up. (Also fixed with zip ties - we'll see if they work.)
3) I haven't yet removed the back light, but it seems you have to get the tool kit out to do that too. Annoying since mine arrived completely flat and non-functional.
So, those three things have been a bit of a frustration. but I would still recommend the bike - it's super fun to ride and probably the most affordable and best value on the market.

We had a bad experience with another well-known e-bike company. We decided to go with CyCrown and so happy we did. We purchased the CycVerve and these bikes are incredible. Very well built, comfortable and super fun to ride. These bikes are just as comfortable on a paved road as they are off-road. I highly recommend a CyCrown bike to anyone wanting a well built bike at an affordable price.

I had a problem with the charger that came with the bike and I contacted them so they sent me out a replacement one right away, so I thought that was good customer service.

The first time I bought the e-bike from CYCrown. My experience was incredible due to their fantastic customer service. The communication of the customer service representatives were amazing. My e-bike arrived with a defective part. When I contacted the support and service center, they were kind, helpful ,and thorough in helping with troubleshooting the problem. The part was replaced in a timely manner, and was easy to install.
The support team worked very hard to correct the situation.

I purchased two ebikes CycVerve ebikes from Cycrown. The bikes were delivered to my front porch about 10 days after order (California to Central Kansas about 90% assembled. All the tools to complete the ebikes assembly came with this purchase. Instructions that came with the bikes made the assembly quick and easy. After riding one of the two ebikes for over 20 miles I notice the motor started to make a grinding noise when accelerating. I contacted cycrown support and informed them as to the motor issue. I was asked to video the problem which I did and I got an immediate response from warranty support that they would be replacing the motor movement. I was impressed with Cycrown’s support and response in that they immediate responded to my questions and did not waste any time remedying my future repair.
I chose do repair my ebike myself rather than to take it to a ebike repair shop. Cycrown Support provided all the instructions how to repair, which was fully explained by email, and Cycrown video. In addition, there are many free YouTube repair videos on line that provide additional information, if needed.
My only problem with the motor movement transfer repair came in removing the torque headed screws that is necessary to gain access to the original motor core. Everyone warns of being very careful with removing lock tighted T screws because the head can strip out. I used an T screw bit with a socket wrench tool and couldn’t remove any of the screws that were lock tighted in without the screw heads more the not stripping out with the amount of force that I was using. I found out the only way was to use a power tool with torque bit to remove the screws and using a socket wrench with torque bit will not work. With using the power drill procedure, every lock tighted screw was easily broke loose and was easily removed with no additional damage to the screw heads. One additional note is to be sure to observe the original positions of the slip washers when taking the movement apart so they are correctly repositioned in the movement transfer.
I am pleased with Cycrown’s after purchase service.

After ordering my two e-bikes, I received them quickly, which was great as I couldn’t wait to get out and use them. I had one little hiccup with a sensor. The customer service was very fast to respond to my email, and fixed the situation quickly.

These bikes are heavy-duty tough, but somehow my husband crashed hard enough to break/bend several parts. I contacted Cycrown, looking to purchase replacements, but they were kind enough to send them our way free of charge! We're stoked to get back out there and ride thanks to Audrey @ Cycrown!

I have burned out my motor and they were able to get me a new motor for free and free shipping they have the best service if anything goes wrong to your ebike. High quality bike I road 40 miles on one charge.

Cycrown customer support was excellent. I had a part replacement, shipment delay and some scratches on one bike. Cycrown support worked quickly to address and resolve all the problems. The bikes are an excellent price, high quality and fun to ride!

I absolutely LOVE my Cycrown Free electric bike! I have now ordered 2 of them, from Amazon. Their customer service is amazing! They either answer when I call or reach out the next business day. Both of my bikes arrived on time and in perfect condition. They were super easy to put together as well. The range for my bike goes about 40 miles before I need to charge. And it goes up to 20 miles per hour. Perfect for commuting in LA! I highly recommend this company/brand- and no- I wasn’t paid for this review!! I saw the only other review on here was terrible and I had a completely different experience with them and had to share.

I ordered a bike from Cycrown on June 26th, and the entire experience has been a nightmare. My order was supposed to arrive by June 30th, but as of now, I still haven’t received the bike.

To make things worse, they sent me a broken battery before the bike even arrived. It was poorly packaged, had cracks, bent wires, and looked completely unusable. I’ve reached out to their customer service multiple times, but they take days to respond, and each reply just gives me the runaround with no real solution.

After digging deeper, I realized I’m not alone. I joined their Facebook group and saw tons of other customers complaining about missing bikes, broken parts, and lack of support. Even worse, I noticed that any negative comments on their social media and YouTube videos are quickly deleted — including mine. They’re clearly trying to hide how many people are unhappy with their service.

It also seems that many of the positive YouTube reviews are sponsored or paid for, which gives a misleading impression of the company. Cycrown comes off as a legitimate brand at first glance, but based on my experience and what I’ve seen from others, I would say this company is not trustworthy and does not stand behind its products or customers.

Avoid Cycrown. Save your money and go with a reputable brand.
