I signed a contract with Cynergy Studios LLC on 2/20/2026. This is my second time hiring a new web designer. They have delayed my project by five months. The project manager has consistently refused to implement even the most basic, reasonable functionality and has sabotaged clients' projects, such as blocking clients' logins in every status and the backend, even during Google meetings. Google meetings are like war! The project manager refused and argued over basic functionality such as editing, font size, and the X exit icon, etc. I had to research every tiny functionality to prove that the web designer could implement it, and I would send text messages to another manager each time; they would finally do it. The project manager even asked me for extra money at the beginning for testing; then I had to send our contract to prove there were no extra or hidden costs to him and another manager. Eventually, the project manager told me there was no cost for testing. it was an extremely exhausting & extremely frustrating experience! Recently, they even argued over 100% ownership, shipping API integration rates, and other matters covered by the contract. After five months' delay, they asked me for $47,500 extra and accused me of revoking the contract, which I found ridiculous.
Under our contract, no extra money and no hidden fees.
Under the contract, Category and home products were covered because they are part of the client-managed website. They argued that it is beyond the scope of the contract.
The contract covers 100% ownership. They argued that the Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator apps are out of scope. It is frustrating that they can change my login password on the backend at any time. Without 100% control of the backend, the unfinished or even finished website is useless.
They only update a partial percentage of my feedback after waiting a few weeks, or a month, or a few months, after the Skeleton homepage's first month. Sometimes only update 1%-10% of my feedback.
I have been blocked three times on the backend, but they denied them all.
In June, the project manager pressured me into paying the remaining balance during a Google meeting. If I did not pay the remaining balance, my project would be delayed. The project manager promised me that they would hire three guys to finish my project within several days. After negotiation, I paid the agreed-upon remaining balance for fast delivery and built a long-term positive relationship with the project manager. However, the project manager did not honor his words at all. The project manager threw my project into the bottom of the ocean for a few months after I paid. He has continued to dishonor his word, and he has failed to deliver on his promises three times.
I like peace and a smooth process. However, the project manager could suddenly throw a storm or a ridiculous message (as they recently did). It has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. On a Sunday, I had to rush to urgent care for chest pain, high stress, and high anxiety.
They have failed to deliver my project four times as promised. They did not honor our contract at all. After over five months' delay, they're now holding my project hostage to stop updating it for a ridiculous extra $ 47,500.
Is Cynergy Studios' behavior like a scam?

I signed a contract with this company almost a year ago for a 28-page website for $700. Almost one full year later, they still have not delivered the website. The homepage is incomplete, full of issues, and still has typos. Not the full website. Not 28 finished pages. Not a polished final product. Just an unfinished homepage after almost a year.

From the very beginning, I made it clear that my website had to be built on Wix. I was so firm about Wix that I made them put it in the contract. This was not optional. It was not confusing. It was not a suggestion. It was a written requirement.

Instead of honoring the contract, they spent nearly a year building a low-quality, unfinished website on their own platform and then tried to pressure me into paying extra money to publish it on their server. That is not a misunderstanding. That is bait and switch behavior.

They called me constantly when they wanted my money, but when it came time to address the fact that they breached the contract, failed to deliver the website, ignored the required Wix platform, and tried to force me onto their server, suddenly the urgency disappeared.

I gave them everything they needed to succeed. I provided a detailed website map, written instructions, section-by-section direction, and AI-generated mockups for the design. They did not have to guess. They did not have to create the vision from scratch. I handed them the blueprint, and they still could not build the house.

In my opinion, Cynergy Studios is incompetent at best and predatory at worst. The work was sloppy. The communication was manipulative. The delays were ridiculous. The platform issue was unacceptable. The attempt to charge me more money after ignoring the contract was insulting.

This company took almost a year and could not complete one proper homepage, let alone a 28-page website. If you cannot follow written instructions, honor a signed contract, spell-check a homepage, or build on the platform the client specifically required, you have no business selling website services.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Cynergy Studios to anyone. I believe people should be extremely cautious before doing business with them. Get everything in writing, do not trust verbal promises, do not let them control your hosting, and do not assume they will honor the platform you requested.

I am now preparing to pursue legal action because this was not poor service. This was a year-long failure to deliver, a failure to honor the contract, and an attempt to push me into paying more money for a platform setup I never agreed to.
