My property purchase was made significantly more stressful by repeated delays, poor communication, errors in handling documentation and matters that required me to chase and escalate repeatedly.

At various stages I found myself having to identify issues, question information provided and push for matters to be progressed that I reasonably expected my solicitor to manage.

Buying a home is stressful enough without having to manage the conveyancing process yourself.

My advice to anyone considering DWS for a property purchase would be simple: look elsewhere. I would not use them again.

I had an excellent experience with the conveyancing team, particularly Aaliya and Brooke, who were both fantastic throughout the entire process.

I used the firm for my home purchase with StrideUp, and one of the main reasons I chose them was their experience with Islamic home purchase plans and their position on the approved solicitor panels for these lenders. As a first-time buyer, I really appreciated how clearly they explained each stage of the process and took the time to make sure I understood what was happening.

The customer service was excellent from start to finish. Communication was always quick, clear and professional, and I never had any issues getting a response. Despite our purchase being part of a chain, they communicated very effectively not only with me but also with the other parties involved, which helped keep everything moving smoothly.

Aaliya and Brooke were both extremely professional, approachable and understanding. They made what could have been a stressful process feel much more manageable, and I always felt that my questions and concerns were taken seriously.

Slow, lacking proactivity, unprofessional.

I would not recommend DWS based on our experience so far.

Our buyers are first-time buyers with no property to sell, yet their side of the transaction has taken the longest in the entire chain. What should have been a straightforward process has been plagued by unnecessary delays.

Communication has been slow, reactive rather than proactive, and unprofessional. It took weeks just to onboard the buyers, creating avoidable delays and frustration for everyone else in the chain.

On more than one occasion, Pritesh has claimed not to have received emails from our solicitors, despite other emails being successfully sent to and received from the same email address. I also noticed another review referencing the same conveyancer describing a very similar issue regarding emails, which is concerning.

We have raised our frustrations throughout the transaction via our own solicitors and through the estate agent, but our concerns have not been noted or addressed and has made little difference.

These ongoing delays are potentially putting the entire chain at risk and have caused significant, unnecessary stress for everyone involved.

The transaction is still ongoing, but based on our experience to date, I would not recommend using DWS for conveyancing.

​12 months for a chain-free property swap - poor communication and oversight.
​We used Pritesh for a direct property swap with our buyer. With no complex chain involved, this should have been a relatively straightforward transaction. Instead, the process dragged on for nearly 12 months and caused immense, unnecessary stress for my wife and I.
​The primary issues were poor communication and a lack of proactivity. We spent the majority of the transaction chasing Pritesh for updates. Whenever we finally managed to reach him by phone, we were invariably told he was "just typing an email to us."
​Several significant oversights occurred along the way. Early on, our submitted documents were misplaced by the firm, forcing us to pay out-of-pocket for a second set of certified copies. Later, when our buyer's conveyancer changed, Pritesh was formally notified but spent a full month sending emails to the old contact. He only realized his mistake after he asked us to chase the buyers ourselves and we pointed out his error. Furthermore, every time we felt close to completion, a new, previously unmentioned requirement would pop up. It constantly felt like crucial details were being missed or overlooked until the last minute.
​To his credit, Pritesh did redeem himself slightly in the final stages. He provided excellent, solid advice around the actual completion. If we had experienced that version of Pritesh from day one, this would easily be a 5-star review. Unforunately, a strong final few weeks do not undo a year of stressful mismanagement.

DWS Legal have performed exceptionally well for us on what has been a protracted house sale. Always highly responsive with quick positive advice on the best way forward. Very dangerous company! harassment for 12 months over !! steer clear at all costs they will make up debts after you have already paid outstanding ones even though I have email confirmation. The attitude of the staff is unprofessional and really does reflect what kind of company this is.
