They designed the second book in my Tiny Tin House series, and as usual, they knocked it out of the park. I love the way they take my feedback and incorporate it to make something so much better than I ever expected.

Overall, Damonza was found to be a great choice for formatting my book. The cover, contents, and all other services provided were done in the most professional manner possible. There is one exception I would like to mention: making my project manager available by telephone would have been much appreciated. Messaging accomplished the goal, but for greater clarity, and time savings, some of the repeated work could have been avoided. Hats off to Robynne; her patience and general kindness were extremely valuable to me.

I've used Damonza for years and years now. I was first introduced to them when they did the cover for three of my books at Thomas & Mercer and kept right on using them for years thereafter. I have been in this book creation world for 8 years now. It has taken me quite some time to find this group, but I can say I’m exceptionally happy.

I learned of Damonza through a webinar on self-publishing … and I am so glad I approached them! As a three-time published novelist, I know the importance of a good book cover, and Damon and his team more than delivered. The cover exceeded my expectations. It was spot-on for genre and somehow expressed some of the heart of my story in a gripping snapshot. Additionally, at every step of the process, communication was prompt and clear.

This was my second time using Damonza and once again they did not disappoint. I absolutely love my cover and they worked through multiple versions and edits to make sure I was satisfied. Highly recommended!

First, the most important end product - the cover - was superbly done. Every one of my writer friends wanted to know who did it because they really liked it.
Second, response times were faster than Damonza said to expect.
Third, I made a lot of changes on the cover and the interior and they never complained or told me to get my act together.
Fourth, I will hire Damonza when my next book is ready.

What they do well:
Damonza is professional, responds promptly, has a very reasonable price for the service they provide, and overall are great to work with.

What could be improved:
There were several items, specifically with the interior changes, that I needed to call out multiple times in order to have them addressed properly. I was surprised by this because I didn’t recall this happening with my first experience working with them 4 years ago.

At the end of the day, I am extremely happy with the result so it hurts to give anything less than 5 stars. Where they lack, they made up tenfold with the end result.

Robynne was professional and responded timely to my many emails. The formatter and book cover designer did a great job working with me as the project evolved from one book to two volumes. They were patient and most accommodating as I made changes along the way. The only suggestion for improvement would be reviewing the edits before submitting for the client’s review. I found more errors than expected, which took time to identify and get corrected. That aside—great experience. I will definitely recommend Damonza. Thank you!
