I'm a fan of Danny's cycles, from when I started out as a novice roadie I heard rumors about the two big bike shops in my area both of whom were started by X racers. Danny's and Scarsdale where I had done most of my service and shopping were very astute in fixing complicated things on my very complicated pro level bicycle. No I'm not a pro I'm just a guy that likes to wear fancy spandex and go as fast as I can till I run out of breath. With their local pro, Joey, has a wealth of knowledge and a ton of experience. Whether it's mountain biking or his specialty road cycling. The technicians in the back are tip top and when they service your bike it literally feel like it's brand new. They're excellent at bike fitting because when I first started this it turns out I had a frame that was too big for me and at the fitting they basically pointed that out and I dropped pretty much from a 58 to a 56 goodbye back pain. Have a good line of clothing for the beginner and intermediate cyclist, they even have an amazing array of children's bicycles in various sizes to get a little ones to enjoy actual reality for a change.
Danny cycles is my go-to they have locations all over Westchester. The biggest one to my knowledge is on Central avenue Scarsdale and the one closest to me is in Pelham. I stopped there if I need a quick fix for something in the middle of a ride. You can't go wrong with either shop because these guys are highly professional, the prices are reasonable and you do get good value for the money .
