I recently completed the DevOps coursework with Darey.io, and overall, it was a valuable learning experience.

The strongest aspect of the program is how well the coursework is organized. It provides a solid foundation in DevOps concepts, and I finished the program feeling much more confident in my understanding. I also learned many practical concepts and tools that I likely wouldn't have discovered on my own.

That said, there are several areas that need improvement. The platform experienced technical issues during the course, which affected the learning experience. I also believe the live classes could be significantly better—they would benefit from being more practical, interactive, and hands-on rather than primarily theoretical.

Another challenge was communication. The communication channels were inconsistent, and not everyone seemed to be kept informed or carried along. At times, this left me feeling misplaced and unsure if I was missing important updates or expectations.

Despite these shortcomings, the program gave me a strong grounding in the fundamentals of DevOps, and I appreciate the knowledge and confidence I gained. With improvements to the platform stability, communication, and live class delivery, I believe the learning experience could be even better.

The instructors were impactful, and the topics covered were very informative. The hands-on projects helped me gain more knowledge, improve my skills, and build confidence in the IT space. The materials were easy to understand and readily available. Overall, it was a great and impactful experience.

The topics and material available were made to be very easy to understand. The project based topics really helped me get hands on experience and real world use case. The Live classes created an environment to expand on my self learning and ask questions.

The hands-projects where very helpful and well organized.They have the instructors i have met that are patient and willing to take you through the learning process.The support team are top notch .Darey.io has the best team I have met so far.

Before March 2025, I had no technical background and was coming from a completely different field. My journey into technology started when I enrolled in the DevOps Engineering program at Darey.io, and it has been one of the best career decisions I have made.

The program provided a structured, hands-on learning experience that went far beyond theory. I gained practical experience working with Linux, Git, GitHub, AWS Cloud services, networking, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, security concepts, and real-world DevOps workflows. The projects challenged me to think like an engineer and helped me build confidence in applying what I learned.

What stood out most was the emphasis on practical project work. Instead of simply watching tutorials, I was required to build, deploy, troubleshoot, and document solutions, which significantly improved my technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Today, I am able to work on cloud and DevOps projects independently, deploy applications on AWS, implement CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure, and maintain professional documentation. Looking back at where I started, the transformation has been remarkable.

I am grateful to the instructors and the entire team at Darey.io for creating an environment that supports growth and continuous learning. For anyone looking to transition into tech, especially those without a traditional computer science background, I highly recommend the DevOps Engineering program.

The DevOps bootcamp was an excellent learning experience. I loved the hands-on, project-based approach, which helped me gain practical experience with real-world DevOps tools and workflows rather than just learning theory.

A truly impactful experience. From the streamlined onboarding process to the graduation ceremony, the support and vibes were excellent. Team leads were very supportive and available, the customer support team was responsive to feedback, and the communication channels were active and interactive. The Xterns AI platform is very user-friendly and equipped with quizzes to help upskill your current skill set, along with helpful learning documents, video links, and other valuable tools.

The projects are complex and highly exposing, leveraging extensive use of tools and skills to address real-world issues across various industry sectors.

The use of team pods led by a team lead fostered strong collaboration among team members, just like in real-world organisations.

I would definitely recommend it to other software developers, data engineers, and anyone looking to upskill and gain extensive knowledge in an industry sector of their choice through real-world projects.

The beauty of it all, you need to document all your learning/project on GitHub before you can submit for grading. This assisted me to be consistent with my DevOps journey, while I await externship with Darey.io I will go back to all my projects documentation to solidify my skills.

The learning process was easy. I had great teachers and they were always available to help explain whatever I found difficult.
