A gentleman from the company possibly the owner phoned to advise me that the items I had ordered for New Year may not arrive in time due to courier issues but in order to help he would track his end.
My items arrived in time and the gentleman phoned to check that they had arrived.
Excellent customer service that is so rare these days and will certainly use again.

I never received the delivery
I never received the delivery. I received the first automated delivery message too late and I rescheduled the delivery once and was told I couldn't do it again, even though the items were urgently needed for a funeral. I tried to contact Dawn Direct on the Friday and they were closed and they didn't reopen until Monday by which time it was too late.

Hello Wonu, I was nice talking to you this morning, I'm so sorry to hear about this delivery issue.
I think you may have called the courier on Friday and not our office. Our telephone lines are live between Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:15pm. Our telephone computer reported that last week we answered all incoming calls within 6 rings and had no missed calls. Outside these times we have an answer machine where you can leave a message and we will call you back.
The first I knew about it was yesterday 12th December at 5pm, I called your mobile number straight away at 5:30pm the same evening and left a message that I would call the next day.
I’ve now looked at our records and can see the following on our carriers “APC” website:
You placed your order on Sunday 1st December at 10:24pm.
We dispatched it the Monday 2nd December at 3:15pm.
You where notified that the order would be delivered on Tuesday 3rd Dec.
According to "APC" you contacted them on the 3rd Dec at 10:52am and re-arranged the delivery for Wednesday 4th Dec.
"APC" tried to deliver on Wednesday 4th December at 10:38am, but no one was in and they said they left a card.
According to "APC" you contacted them on the Wednesday 4rd December at 2pm and re-arranged the delivery for Friday 6th December.
"APC" then tried to deliver on Thursday 5th December at 2:15pm, again they said no one was in, they said they left another card.
I can see on the “APC” website that the parcel was returned to the APC hub and is now on route back to our warehouse.
I am sorry you experience was not 5 stars. Like all the couriers “APC” will only attempt to deliver 3 times.
If you ever order again and have any problems, please just call our telesales team on 01236 468000. We will be more than please to help.
I will organise a full refund today 13th December.
