Decas Interior Avis 

We recently hired Decas for a complete bathroom renovation and I couldn't be happier with their work! We initially didn't know them, nor anyone who worked with them, but we trusted the reviews here and now I can say: I'm glad that I did!

At first, we had a hard time figuring out what we wanted - that's when Debora, the interior designer of the team, stepped in to help us. By giving her some references of things we liked, she was able to make the perfect bathroom design and chose the most beautiful materials for us, making it completely to our taste!

From the beginning, Lucas and his team were very flexible, had great communication and were really professional. We had the feeling that we could trust them, and we knew they would do a great job. This is the first experience we had with renovations, and I'm surprised it went so well after hearing so many bad experiences from friends about other contractors.

We now have a really nice bathroom that makes me happy every time I enter. I completely trust Decas and am already planning to hire them for future projects in our house!

I feel truly blessed to have come across Lucas and his fantastic team. We recently bought a house and decided to renovate it, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

Here’s what we accomplished during the renovation:

• Plastered and Painted: We plastered and painted all the walls and ceilings.
• New Flooring: We replaced the flooring throughout the entire house with visgraat.
• Bathroom and Toilet Renovation: The existing bathroom and toilet were completely renovated.
• New Bathroom Creation: We transformed the wasruimte into a brand-new bathroom from scratch.
• Window Painting: All windows, both inside and outside, were painted.
• Kitchen Preparations: We made all the necessary preparations for our new kitchen.

And many other little things we were coming through along the way.

Lucas’ wife, Debora, was hired to design the bathroom projects for us, and her creativity and expertise truly shone through.

From the beginning, communication with Lucas was 100% clear and efficient. We negotiated the price and agreed on the start and end dates, and everything went according to plan. Lucas was not only a source of great suggestions, but he also took care of every detail. For instance, when converting the wasruimte into a bathroom, he decided to move the ketel into a newly built closet in the guest room to gain space. He even coordinated with a certified professional to relocate it.

The renovation was completed on time, and we were able to move in on the agreed date. There were a few little details left, but nothing that would make a mess or disturb us.

What truly set this experience apart was the peace of mind Lucas provided. He ordered all materials directly from the store, so I only had to deal with him. Lucas’ extensive network of contacts and suppliers meant everything was done efficiently and promptly. I didn’t have to worry about learning every little detail of the renovation process; I knew Lucas would handle it all.

After moving in, we also agreed on doing the backyard, which was leveled, the fence was replaced, a deck was built, and a tree was moved around.

Communication throughout the project was exceptional, and I felt confident every step of the way.

Als je op zoek bent naar een betrouwbare aannemer, dan ben je bij Decas Renovatie & Onderhoud (Lucas en zijn team) aan het goeie adres! Wij hebben onlangs onze garage laten verbouwen en ik heb nog nooit eerder zo fijn samengewerkt met een aannemer! Lucas communiceert super helder, adviseert waar nodig en alles ging volgens plan. De garage is omgebouwd naar leefruimte (waaronder isoleren, nieuwe pui en de vloerverwarming is doorgetrokken aan ons bestaande systeem). Alles is zeer vakkundig verlopen. Lucas gaat planmatig te werk waardoor iedereen exact weet wat er moet gebeuren en wanneer (inclusief de klant). Het team is erg vriendelijk, zeer vakkundig, veelzijdig en ze werken heel netjes! Ik kan Decas Renovatie & Onderhoud aan iedereen aanraden en mijn toekomstige klussen zal ik zeker weer Lucas en zijn team inschakelen.

In our first contact with Lucas, we immediately noticed his competence. What seemed like a simple job actually had hidden details we hadn't considered. Lucas made pertinent suggestions before providing the quote. On the day of the service, the team demonstrated extreme competence and readiness. Despite it being seemingly straightforward, it involved electrical and structural knowledge, among other things and Lucas were able to manage all the situations. They were very friendly and organized; they covered the entire area with plastic and tape to prevent mess in other spaces. The final result was amazing, even better than we had imagined, exceeding our expectations. We're deeply thankful for their exceptional work. We definitely recommend Decas team, and we'll surely work together again in the future!

Lucas and his team are excellent professionals. Not only the quality of the service is outstanding, but they are also friendly and and proactive.

They renovated a couple of rooms in our house, where the original floor had to be removed, to then install floor heating and new flooring.

Lucas came to our house to discuss the options and make a plan. We felt very well informed and confident from the first chat. His communication with us during the project execution was also excellent, informing us of the progress and requesting our input as needed.

During the work itself, some unforeseen problems happened that were not related to their work: when opening the crawling space of our house, a lot of water was found after a rainy period (which was not there during the initial conversation). Lucas and his team were proactive to find a way to work (and the job to be done in a timely manner) even with the less-than-ideal wet conditions of our crawling space.

Finally, the entire team is very friendly and respectful. Their work was not disruptive, quite the contrary: it was quiet, organized and and clean.

We will for sure continue hiring Decas Renovatie for our future needs!

De tweede klus die Lucas en zijn vriendelijk en bekwame team voor ons heeft gedaan. De keuken is grondig en vakkundig vernieuwd, incl water en elektra. Altijd meedenkend en creatief, en op veel markten thuis. De Belgische abdij natuurstenen vloer is uitstekend gelegd. Dank voor de geleverde diensten, tot een volgende keer.

Team Decas helped us from the very beginning thinking along to figure out the best layout for our new bathroom. Some highlights for us were:
- time estimation to complete the renovation was correct;
- great recommendation of quality materials we could source, and what would fit with our design / budget / final look we envisioned;
- the team did a spotless work meeting all the expectations we had for details, alignment, cleaness and functionality;
- the communication was great, every detail we needed to change was well explained and thought through together;
We never had such an amazing experience during a renovation, the team left the house everyday as clean as they could, they were friendly and open to answer to questions and to think along to reach a result we are now very satisfacted with.

I had a "little" surprise from the old owner with leakage, water damage, rotten wood and so on. The same applies for the electric installation and fuse box, I had quite many fire hazards that I was not aware of and Lucas an the team did a great job fixing all of it, offering advice and making my home safer. Everything was conducted according to what was planned, the execution was super clean and will definitely continue to use their services for the next renovations.

As expats it was even more stressful to find the right handyman to do the renovation. Working with Lucas and his team was a great experience as everything was done on time and even better than agreed. What we agreed on paper was done and even more than that. Most importantly there were no unpredictable costs. Even after renovation Lucas was always available to help out and give good advice. If you want to do the renovation in the right way and not stress about it I would recommend you Lucas and his team. They will do a job professionally. 

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the work of Decas, who made our home the way we dreamed. Lucas was attentive and willing to help us in all questions since day 1.

Wij hadden Decas aanvankelijk ingehuurd voor het plaatsen van onze nieuwe badkamer in onze nieuwe jaren ‘30 woning. Decas heeft de badkamer van kop tot staart (incl. leidingwerk en ventilatie) keurig opgeleverd. Daarnaast heeft Decas de verwarmingsbuizen op de eerste etage weggewerkt en gemoderniseerd en het trappenhuis en de inbouwkasten gestuct. Wij zijn heel erg tevreden over het resultaat en het proces. Verbouwen is toch altijd spannend als particulier. Lucas (eigenaar) denkt goed mee met zijn klant en is transparant in zijn beprijzing. Zijn personeel is even kundig als vriendelijk. Decas is een betrouwbare partner gebleken en zodoende raden wij hen aan voor een ieder die overweegt zijn huis te verbouwen.

Ik kan niet genoeg lof uitspreken over het buitengewone werk van Lucas en collega’s. Ze hebben mijn verwachtingen overtroffen op elk gebied van het bouwproces. Daarnaast stond Lucas ook gelijk klaar op zondagavond om ons te helpen met een noodsituatie, een lekkage vanaf onze bovenburen. Decas is dus ook heel service-gericht. I had a pleasant experience with Decas services.

They built a wall with sound insulation to split a bedroom in two. Lucas paid attention to every detail that I asked as requirements.

The Decas' team made a such good job removing an old headboard, building the wall, installing new spot lights and power sockets, placing a wall mirror and painting both bedrooms.

I am very satisfied with the result and now my son has a beautiful and light bedroom.
