How was the overall pitch training experience?
The experience with DePitch was absolutely transformative. I originally joined the KAIKA team as an engineer, but I was suddenly tasked with delivering our pitch for the Colosseum hackathon. I had no experience pitching on such a big stage and honestly couldn't tell what was right or wrong. Sofian from DePitch carefully and clearly gave me the standard for judgment I was missing, which led to massive improvements. What impressed me most personally was that despite his incredibly busy schedule (he had to fly from Japan to Korea), he came to meet us in person for a direct mentoring session right before his departure. That day was, without a doubt, the day I grew the most.

What were the most useful things you learned?
I learned the critical skill of how to make our pitch stand out among hundreds of other submissions. I understood the need to create a powerful "hook" and then weave our vision into a compelling story, almost like a picture book. Sofian genuinely helped us think through this process and taught us how to connect the different parts of our presentation seamlessly.

Any concrete improvements you noticed in your pitch?
Everything improved dramatically. Initially, our design was a simple white text on a black background. Through his mentorship, we added our logo, key visuals, videos, and improved the App's UI/UX. We also struggled with how to explain the market opportunity for our new haptic technology, as no market exists yet. With Sofian's guidance, we made the bold strategic decision to remove that section entirely, which turned out to be a key to our success. The pitch was transformed into something lean, smooth, thoughtful, and incredibly impactful.

Would you recommend it to other founders or builders?
Absolutely, without any hesitation. I can say with certainty that I wouldn't have come this far without the DePitch program. Meeting Sofian and being a part of this program has been the greatest stroke of luck in my journey so far. I recommend it to any builder who has a great idea but needs help turning it into a story that the world wants to invest in.
