​Had a great experience with DES Renewables from start to finish. Their solar system proposal was incredibly detailed, and Richard went through it all with us, tailoring the system perfectly to our needs and answering all our questions.
​The surveyor arrived right on time and walked us through the entire installation layout, showing us exactly where the cables and equipment would go. Communication was fantastic throughout; we were kept informed every step of the way with clear emails detailing when scaffolding would arrive and when the work would start and finish.
​The installation itself was highly professional—everything is neatly installed with minimal cables on show. The 4-part payment split was also straightforward and easy to manage. Best of all, the installers were observant enough to notice our vallex needed a repair and let us know so we could fix it while the scaffolding was still up, which saved us a lot of money! Highly recommend DES Renewables.

Thank you to DES for a seamless install of our new solar set up. The information and advice provided beforehand by Darren and the team really helped inform our final decision. The scaffolders, Steve, the roofer and Jack, electrician were efficient and a credit to the business, the install of our 15 panel and Tesla Powerwall 3 system only taking two days, working perfectly as we speak. We would highly recommend.

Highly recommend this company, they have just installed solar and battery storage. Great service from the initial quote and it was starting to get confusing when you get about 6 quotes and they all say something different.
Eventually whittled it down to 2 and DES Renewables came out top as they were competitive, flexible with their offering of products and have great reviews
Chose Goodwe battery as has excellent inverter warranty. Ben and his team were 1st class for the install, very clean and tidy job.

DES Renewables were excellent from the first call through to installation. They were the first company who properly listened to my requirements without telling me what I needed. They then came up with a design that met those needs, did a comprehensive site survey and gave us a date for install. The installation was great, friendly knowledgeable staff, really clear communication and a brilliant setup which we are really happy with. Would definitely recommend them.

We checked out quite a few companies before settling with DES. They were consistently professional, trustworthy, helpful at all times and pulled out all the stops to get us up and running. Very pleased and recommend them to everyone.

The knowledge the team has is fantastic, they really help to map everything out clearly in the reports which many of the competition struggle to do in the same way. We had a couple delays for the electrics but after a follow up, the team delt well with the issues and shared my frustrations and resolved the issue promptly. I would recommend them as the are great value for the investment made.

Very helpful staff when ever I called them. And very patient with me working out what solar panels, batteries and inverter to have in my Sigenergy system. And as we had a problem with our roof which had to be fixed before we could have the solar panels fitted. This caused a small delay but worked out well in the end.
On the day of the fitting the solar panel fitters started at 8am and the electricians were just a little later and they all got on with there work, and checking with me where things were going and how it was all going to work.
The two electricians were very good with the care they took in all their work which I was very impressed with.
After they finished the install they ran me through the whole system and how it all worked helping me with the app and telling me if I had any questions after they had gone to contact the technical dept.
I would recommend DES Renewable's to anyone thinking of having a solar energy system.

We used DES to upgrade our PV system. They recommended a cost effective solution to meet our requirements. Installation was carried out professionally. Throughout we found them consistently helpful and responsive including post implementation support.

Knowledgeable staff and a fairly seamless process from start to finish. Staff are not pushy for a sale, they go at your pace.

Had solar panels installed, they had to remove existing panels first before making the good roof and then installing the new system.

They did a great job, gave really good advice and were competitively priced. I then had them back to install a powerwall later (which I went against their advice to not install in the first place..)

They did a very good job of concealing the equipment, cabling etc to avoid it being unattractive on the house.

Had solar panels and batteries from DES, for about 3 years. The original installation was excellent, from the initial communications to the installation. We have since bought an EV and heatpump and needed some help updating the software for the solar PV system , and DES were very helpful. It's reassuring to know that they look after their customers long term.

All very knowledgeable and helpful from sales to installation. Genuinely seemed keen to help and gave me some really good advice. Allowed me to keep the option of a car charger open right til the last moment (i.e. I didn't have to commit either way in advance). The installation has been in for a few months now and all working perfectly. I don't often leave reviews, but DES deserved it.

Second time I've engaged DES Renewable Energy Ltd, from start to finish the team in sales, admin and fitment teams are brilliant.
They keep you in the loop, so having communication really helps. I had to change my fitment date and the guys were very understanding and accommodating.

Couldn't fault them. In comparison with the well known energy suppliers, DES answered all the questions and we were able to speak to a single point of contact at each stage. For those starting on the steep learning curve from a very low knowledge base, as we were, it made life a lot less stressful.

I had a second battery fitted to my solar system
The company that supplied the batteries has ceased trading but they where able to supply a battery from stock and fit it because the company was no longer supporting new installations they had a bit of trouble getting it to work with the existing system but through perseverance and good skills they got it working and now the system is working fine again

From the initial quotation and technical explanation of the possible options through to the site survey, installation and commissioning DES were very professional. One reason I chose them was that they are not a one man business. They have staff covering different aspects of the project. They kept me informed of the progress.
