Diamondback Elliptical 1060ef
Bought the Diamondback Elliptical 1060ef in 2020 for over $1,000. Seemed solid, used it a couple times a week for the first few years, less in recent years. Good home equipment. Noticed an unusual sound and found that a metal part of the frame had broken at a joint where two pieces were welded together. Contacted the company for advice about repair or replacement for the broken part, and was told they no longer have replacement parts for this machine. It’s beyond warranty and I know that. They referred me to other web sites for parts and I found none. Now the machine is useless. Not what I would have expected for an investment of over $1,000. Maybe that’s just how it is now - companies don’t make things to last beyond the manufacturer warranty. I wouldn’t buy from this company again.
