Not disabled friendly only the walkways. Could not use majority of rides except the ones you pay extra for. Not worth the £40 entrance fee. Cafe was OK

Poor queue management
We visited Diggerland in Kent for the second time today, but unfortunately I was really disappointed by how little regard there seemed to be for queuing. Many families had one person waiting in line to "hold a place", only for several others to join them as they reached the front, walking straight past everyone who had been waiting. This made the queues much slower than they appeared, with some taking 25+ minutes despite looking relatively short.
On a hot day with a toddler in tow, this wasn't ideal. We ended up abandoning a few rides because people kept joining the queue at the last minute. It was also disappointing that the ride operators didn't seem to challenge this or make any effort to manage the queues fairly.
On a positive note, we found all of the staff to be very friendly, and we really enjoyed the rides we did manage to get on. If the queue management could be improved, it would make the overall experience much more enjoyable.

We're pleased to hear that you found our staff to be friendly and that you enjoyed the rides you were able to experience. However, we're very sorry to hear that your visit was affected by issues with queue jumping.
At Diggerland, we do not condone queue jumping, and it is disappointing to hear that this occurred during your visit. If our ride marshals see this happening, they will speak to the visitors involved. Additionally, had our Management Team been made aware of the situation on the day, they would also have stepped in to address the issue.
If you're able to confirm which Diggerland park you visited, we'd be happy to pass your comments on to the relevant Management Team so they can review your feedback and remind staff to remain vigilant in monitoring queues.

A wonderful visit with our 4-year-old grandson.
We're home from a wonderful visit to Diggerland with our 4-year-old grandson. He had the best of times for many reasons. First, the friendly and patient staff went out of their way to show him how to use the controls so he could operate the machines by himself successfully. He's tall for his age and could go on the large excavator by himself. It made his day! Second, queuing was limited. Third, he got a lot of time on the machines before it was someone else's turn. Fourth, he could enjoy a change of pace by riding the train, playing with what he calls the "tiny vehicles" or going on the £1 rides. He loved it and so did we. Thank you very much to the hard-working staff who got it right for a young child every time.

We turned up today after booking 2…
We turned up today after booking 2 adult tickets to be told we had to pay for a 3 year old £25 he was petrified of everything and within 35 mins we had to leave as he was petrified. Refunded for bairn but nothing for us so £50 for 35mins. We will never bring all the grandkids here again

Firstly, we are sorry to hear that your recent visit did not quite live up to your expectations.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the admission charges for your grandson. However, our admission policy is based on height rather than age, as children over 90cm are able to enjoy the majority of the rides and drives available at Diggerland. This information is clearly outlined on both our Tickets & Prices page and our Rides & Drives page, which includes a detailed Ride Height Chart.
When making your booking, the booking process also explains that only children under 90cm qualify for free admission. As your grandson was measured by our admissions team at just under 1 metre tall on arrival, he exceeded the 90cm threshold and therefore required a paid admission ticket. We always recommend that parents and adults measure children before visiting to ensure they purchase the correct tickets in advance.
Having spoken with the Durham management team, they have confirmed that your grandson did not want to participate in the attractions after entering the park. We are genuinely sorry that he did not enjoy the experience and that this resulted in your visit being cut short. To help guests decide whether Diggerland is suitable for their family before booking, our website contains detailed information, photographs and videos showcasing our rides, drives and attractions.
Customer service is something we take great pride in, and we are frequently commended for the professionalism and helpfulness of our staff. Following discussions with the Durham management team, we have been advised that our admissions staff and managers remained polite throughout your visit, explained our admission policies, and did their best to assist you within the scope of our policies. We also received plenty of positive feedback regarding our staff on the day of your visit from other members of the public.
While we appreciate your disappointment that you were unable to enjoy a full day at the park, we are unable to offer a refund for your admission tickets. Our policy for pre-booked tickets is outlined within our Terms and Conditions, which you would have agreed to during the booking process. The information regarding ticket requirements based on height is also clearly available on our website prior to purchase.
We understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.

Excellent customer service and quality of jacket .

Parcel arrived 2 days later than id hoped but came by Royal Mail directly to my door.. I appreciated Louise getting in touch to advise of possible delay and her whole profession tone and friendly approach. Tone of emails lovely and friendly throughout. The denim jacket exceeded my expectations and I cannot stress enough the value for money as the quality was excellent. The sizing is also generous in my opinion. I expected a thinner version with bigger logo but received high quality with discreet logo ( grandson doesn't really do logos ) . Grandson visiting Diggerland next weekend and will wear his jacket proudly. Thank you . Xx

Very good value
Very good value. Our grandson, at 20 months, had a fantastic time and was kept busy and excited for hours. The young staff were all friendly and professional. Food options are convenient 'fast food' and not necessarily value for money therefore I'd recommend taking a picnic/sandwiches.
But overall a great experience 👍

Leuk met nasmaak
Hi, nice, but with a nasty aftertaste. I am a 46-year-old man with my 8-year-old son (height 1.35m). It started with the entrance fee of 80 pounds. Almost 100 euros. I saw that if you book online it saves half the price. Bummer, but the problem was the different water slides he wasn't allowed on because he wasn't 1.40m tall. That was definitely the second frustrating moment. Otherwise, the food was fine, and the ones he was allowed on were great, though. But I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got in return. Visited with my Grandson today
Visited with my Grandson today, very enjoyable experience. Lots of different diggers to use, police car was the favourite. Very quiet so went on most rides twice, very friendly and helpful staff. Look forward to visiting again.

Overpriced, overated and very dissappionting!
We visited this park today with our 2 grandchildren aged 4 and 2 yrs old. We were charged £118.50 for 3 tickets as our 2 year old was under 90cm so she went free (thanks for that as she couldn't go on any rides at all ) We was absolutely shocked at the price of £39.50 each for adults and children.
To add insult to injury, they place all small diggers and little rides around the park that have to be paid for, they are not included in the £39.50 fee to enter the park! They cost £1 per Ride, the bumper cars are also chargeable. You have to purchase tokens from the gift shop to ride the bumper cars! We are beyond unhappy with the park experience and the extortionate entry prices. I would rate it as a 2* park! Never to return!

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with aspects of your experience, particularly regarding pricing. Our £39.50 ticket is our on-the-day price; however, all visitors do have the option to pre-book tickets in advance to benefit from a reduced rate of £25.95 per person for anyone over 90cm. Tickets would have been available to purchase on our website.
All of our main rides and drives are included within the entry fee. We only have a small number of coin-operated rides and the Dodgems, which are £1 per go. These are entirely optional and available at the discretion of visitors should they wish to use them.
We do appreciate your comments and are sorry that your visit did not meet expectations. Please be assured that we will pass your feedback on internally for review and consideration.

Rides were great
Rides were great. Staff were mostly positive and engaged. The ride times can be a bit short, so if you’re there on a busy day you’ll spend a lot more time queuing than riding, however we got there on a quieter day.
Food at the Dig Inn onsite cafe was disappointing. Low quality, bland, not great value for money. Even the ketchup out of the bottle was questionable. The ice cream was nice though.
One star on food. The rest 4-5 star.

You won't be disappointed.
We went with two of our grandchildren and parents as a birthday treat for one of the kids .
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of machines were available to use. Everything was very well organized and there was a lot to do and see.i would definitely go back you need at least 4-5 hours there. The gift shop was well presented,and the soft play area was good for the kids to let off steam.the location of the site is easy to find and parking is very good.

Durham delivers
Attended the Durham site today with my two autistic children. Staff were incredible. Patient and kind and unbelievably positive despite the freezing temperatures.

Had an amazing time with my…
Had an amazing time with my grandchildren, and it's hard to say who had more fun! The team there was excellent, offering incredible value and endless entertainment. The highlight was definitely the Dodgems, especially seeing my 14-year-old granddaughter behind the wheel of the 'Police SUV.' It was an absolute blast! We've visited before and will certainly return. Thanks to everyone who made it a great day!
