Very nice software, but they do not provide quick and effective support, they also raised their pricing which is not helpful to gain trust. Their role is very important being the "evil" cpanel's real alternative software, I wish they will not be acquired by any company, they have my sincere gratitude for this.

Excellent web panel that won't break the bank. It has most features you might need from a web panel and the developers are constantly improving it. They do listen to suggestions as well

Nice panel, not ideal but they support it fast if you have any issues. We using it at our hosting company from 2009, now about 120 servers using it. If you need new features - you can request them.

I've been using directadmin for almost 20 years, and honestly, they've been one of my favorite companies. They honestly care about delivering a good product, and it is a very, very good product. The software is fast, effective, and secure. Moreover, the support people and forum members are great. DA is the most bang for your buck out of any web admin software.

This software setup is not for absolute beginners. You need to have some knowledge to properly setup everything.

I used WHM/cPanel and Plesk for long, and due to low domain limitations in their license, I had to look for an alternative.

I was skeptical about the software at first, so I asked for a trial license for a day or two. But support said that they no longer provide trial licenses, as they are being misused by many people. So, I needed to buy a license, and if I didn't like it, they would refund, and they suggested me to try the personal plus plan, as it has pro pack.

I purchased the plan, and installed on a small DigitalOcean server. Installation was super quick. It took me some time to setup, and some blog readings to do properly. But everything was done, within an hour.

The software is fast, and lightweight, which is good. It is free of bloatware, unlike Plesk. But the UI is a little bit outdated. They need to revamp the UI, and also the website.

It's been 2 months I am using Directadmin to host my sites. So far, it is performing awesome.

One star less, because the setup is not beginner friendly. Otherwise 5 stars. :)

I have used cPanel for years at this point, then I found out about DirectAdmin and I am never switching back to that outdated crappy overpriced cpanel. The features directadmin has to offer are awesome and easy to use, over 95% of my client base prefer directadmin and so do I. Best panel out there.

I have two blog, one with cpanel and another with directadmin panel. I had to never complain with the cpanel hosting. But I am facing problem with blog with direct admin panel. I would never recommend to anyone to use direct admin panel. Don't check the pricing only, you will regret like me.

They have developed a great software getting better day by day. It provides great performance and security, also its interface becomes prettier. Pricing is fare. The owners are nice people, very willing to help. Their support department needs optimization and maybe more members. I wish this company will not be sold to any greedy giant like cpanel was.

I've got a "free" license from one of my providers, but would never pay for the product. It is atrocious: support is always miserable and navigating it, administering sites, etc. is generally beyond confusing and frustrating. I use it to host a few sites that I don't want hosted on my Plesk server - should it go down.
The only reason I use it is because it is free and would rather put the money else where for the time being. However, I can't wait to get another Plesk license.
For the pricing, go with Plesk.
