Director First initially advised and guided me in to world of insolvency. They then acted as a liaison between the external and independent insolvency administrators and me / my company. This allowed me to make an informed decision before hiring the insolvency practioner and putting the company into liquidation. For me this was very valuable as i was comfortable with the process and implications.

Director First seem to have a lot of experience in this field and also have several videos online. The process was much simpler and more straightforward than I expected.

Taking the decision to liquidate your company is a really difficult one and the pressure on you as a director is relentless. Couple that with tonnes of info on the web and the whole thing seems overwhelming.

We were lucky enough to watch a video from Directors First that lead us to thier youtube channel. There is loads of good quality, Informative videos that start to fill the knowledge gap. After reading some reviews on Directors First, we decided to contact them to get some advice.

After some really bad advice from a Chartered Accountant regarding a directors loan account these guys were an absolute god send. On the first phone call I was thinking I could not afford to continue with my company or finish my company and was in complete turmoil. I arranged to speak to someone at 12pm that day but I got a phone call back 45 minutes later as they could hear how desperate and upset I was on the phone. After a chat with Chris regarding my position he advised me on the best course of action and I learnt I was in a much better position that I thought I was. The advice was completely free and completely put my mind at rest, absolute life safer! I just wish I had found them a few months ago instead of going through what I went through. When I first saw Chris on my socials it left me wondering who this guy was, let me tell you, if you've got your head in the sand about the state of your business, this guy drags you out feet first..no bull no flannel, tells you straight what needs to be done and helps you every step of the way, he's team are excellent but for me most importantly Chris is always on the end of the phone, I've had 7am chats with him after sleepless nights by 8am the world has a different outlook. His connections and advise is 2nd to none. As company directors most of us carry the weight of the world, especially in a struggling business, Director First have the ability and knowledge to lighten that load.

Chris Teal responded by phone within 5 minutes of me sending the initial contact form and we discussed my situation for 30minutes. We then set up a follow up video call for a few day later with both Chris Teal & Chris Warden. They offered clear, no-nonsense and helpful advice for how I might best tackle the situation in the coming months. Very supportive and easy to talk to with no pressure just sensible, practical suggestions. it is clear they are experienced in their industry and look for the best outcome for their clients. Very helpful and highly recommended.
