Dissertation by Design Avis

The team at Dissertation by Design was instrumental in my academic journey. They helped me achieve a crucial milestone - a successful proposal defense and have always been available to answer questions. The writing retreats and bootcamps are a game changer. Both have helped me overcome writing blocks.

I am in the home stretch of completing my PhD. When I called Jessica (Owner) I was quite frantic with the litany of edits I was receiving from my committee. She immediately put me at ease. After our call she promptly sent me an email and connected me with Veronica (dissertation coach).

My overall experience has been fantastic. I had previously hired a coach and it was not the best experience. Dissertation by Design is tailored to the needs of each client. I think the payment system of paying for hours and using them as needed. Since using DBD a once stagnate PhD is now headed towards me being completed in 2023!

I cannot express my gratitude enough. My regret? I wished out found out about them sooner. Thank you all!

My trainer/facilitator has been professional, encouraging, kind and competent.
Assistance and support has been provided in order to understand areas of statistics relevant to my study.
The atmosphere is comfortable, pleasant yet efficient.
Excellent experience so far.

I was so impressed with the responsiveness of Dissertation by Design team, their ability to work within my time frame, and the thoroughness of their work.

My statistical tutor has been very easy and encouraging to work with. My statistical background is weak and she seems to be able to work through that and tailor her remarks to my level. I am learning about which methods we're choosing and why, and I've received scholarly articles which will help me write up my methods properly. I highly recommend DbD.

Kirstie has helped organize my data in a way that is suitable for analysis and has enhanced my understanding of my results. The Dissertation by Design process has been truly professional, and Kirstie has been an expert resource that I can check in with as I draft my results section. I am so relieved I found this team!

Partnering with Dissertation by Design was the absolute right choice. The edited version of my dissertation flew through all the gates of the approval process at my university with no additional work.

The editor was precise and professional and the edited product was returned to me more than a week prior to the agreed upon date. I could not have been more pleased!

My situation is time sensitive such that, other coaching services shied away from assisting me. DBD has taken me on as a client and with their help, I am moving through this Very difficult process. My coach is helpful, encouraging and turns documents around quickly.

The team at Dissertation by Design polished my dissertation and made the process painless.

Working with Dissertation by Design has been one of the best decisions I have made through the dissertation process. This team has been professional, helpful, and consistent in the assistance they have provided. I would highly recommend using any of their services.

Outstanding performance prompt and give my exceptional support!

My complete trust and confidence…

Friendly, authentic, and straightforward organizations. Partnered me with an experienced Ph.D. to help me craft my study and determine what personal characteristics I might want in a committee chair based on the research I want to conduct.

If you are looking for great opportunities to develop or practice your skills in academic writing, this is the place to be.

I have been practicing academic writing for research with "Dissertation by Design" for several months. It’s a nice professional community that you can connect with once or twice a week and discover – or brush up – a particular topic useful for developing research papers, dissertations and similar academic works. There are also more intensive bootcamps and other meeting formats. I have done an intensive literature review bootcamp for 1 month with 4 practical workshops, preparatory assignments, and personalized guidance. I could use what I have learned immediately to write reports in my daily research routines. Becoming a more effective academic writer is like being in a profession: learning it does not happen overnight and you need to practice your craft regularly to keep up to date, but it really helps to move forward.

I had my dissertation edited by dissertation by design. I was nervous because my quantitative research required a lot of numbers, statistics, and tables. I wanted to be sure the editor had specific experience reviewing quantitative data. They did a great job and were super helpful in the last home stretch!

I have done the literature boot-camp and statistics boot-camp. I have also engaged in individual coaching as well as some editing services. With all the services I have felt supported and cared about.

This is a great consultancy for Dissertation support!!!

Deb really helped me put my dissertation into order to meet the APA standards. She found discrepancies in some of the paperwork which prompted me to alert my SP of the misinformation. It made me feel sane to know I was not alone in my dissertation journey.

Just what I needed! This service is tantamount to a tutor or mentor relationship. You get that motivational “shot in the arm” to keep you on track as well as have a professional academic to bounce ideas off of. It helps when you can be mentored by someone who knows the academic landscape. My confidence in my ability to make across the finish line has increased astronomically. I am so grateful for this service. This should be a requirement of all grad programs!!

Jessica and Veronica are outstanding!
