Good Customer Service

Good Customer Service. This was our first time ordering with divan-beds and there were some hiccups with the divan base when it arrived. Customer Services replied to my email and arranged an exchange. There were more hiccups with castors when the new base arrived, but again, I received prompt replies from the 24-hour Customer Service agents and they helped see things through to a resolution, arranging to send some spare parts by post immediately.
End result - a great looking, comfy bed. Very pleased. Thanks!

When things go wrong, that's how you measure how good a company is!

I've used beds.co.uk for a number of years, having bought 6 beds & mattresses from them. However, I had a couple of hiccups with my 7th & most recent order. Beds did all they could to resolve the issues, & when it became clear it couldn't be resolved, they didn't hesitate to replace the defective faux leather divan, with a brand new one, the next working day! I want to say thanks to manager Billy & his team for their excellent service, & the kind discount given for an upgraded bed. I'm a very happy customer once again & will be back for bed No 8.

All companies are great when things are going right, but the measure of q company is how they react & treat you in the event that things go awry. In this respect, beds.co.uk have been brilliant!

Beautiful mattress

Beautiful mattress, 5000 pocket sprung at a brilliant price, easy to order with regular email updates. My only issue is, it was a one person delivery to the door and I really struggled to get it up two flights of stairs.

Unhelpful and rude customer service

I’ve been shopping online for many years, and have always been treated respectfully by customer services if ever I had an issue with any products that I’ve purchased!

By far this is the worst company EVER!!
I purchased a sofa which is faulty, very flimsy, and had dirt marks on it. I tried calling customer services within the time frame however no one answers the phone at all in this company, the phone would ring out.

I emailed them explaining my issue, and the reply from them was sooo disrespectful and degrading, they more or less accused me of putting the marks on the sofa, and not putting it together correctly. I explained that it was, they had no empathy, and didn’t care one bit. How can a company be able to treat people like this and call us liars and be able to talk to us like we’re nothing!!

THESE SO CALL COMPANIES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRADE AND SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!

The best Divan bed company in UK

It is one of the best services and products in the market. Divan bed customer service can be compared to Amazon customer service. They are efficient, courteous and easy to reach

Dreadful refund policies

Requested a refund for a faulty leather bed the day it arrived and Divan Beds are only offering to refund less than half price even tho the bed is unused and I still have all the original packaging
Not the service I was expecting
I will request a charge back from my credit card provider and take the company to small claims court to recover any losses and report the outcome back here

2000 pocket sprung mattress

Bought a 2000 pocket sprung mattress and I am very happy with it. Nice and comfortable, well made and delivered in three days. Very happy with the communication. Would recommend divan beds.

Excellent bed & kept updated with my delivery.
Just bought an ottoman divan bed from this Company and the quality is second to none. Had a small problem with the footboard which I can happily report they rectified without hassle. Would definitely recommend.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

The customer service and professional is some of the best I have experienced, they really care which is a rare trait in this life The issue I had was dealt with quikly and efficiently and I can't thank those involved enough Definitely recommend.

Horrendous...avoid!!!

I ordered a cream bed frame and paid extra for a matching headboard and chrome feet. The bed frame was poorly put together with random staples all of the back but that was the least of my issues. The chrome feet were extremely cheap and chipped. The bed frame was a different colour to the headboard. The bed frame was cream and the headboard was tan\beige. I sent pictures and was firstly told they couldn’t see any difference, I was then told the different colours are because of different batch colours....complete rubbish! The headboard was in no way cream of any shade! I was offered a 10% refund providing I did not leave any negative feedback, or I could return the bed and bed frame in my own packaging at my expense and would have to wait in for a courier. I declined the partial refund as this was a bribe...I had a bad experience and was certainly going to share this as a warning to other people. Many other conversations occurred where I was told I am refusing to co operate...I waited a month before I complained, both of which are false accusations and I have emails to prove this. This has been a big inconvenience and a complete waste of time. Customer Services (Tyler) is rude, unhelpful and doesn’t care how poor my experience has been. There is clearly no quality control and this is a complete shambles of a company. BE AWARE!!

Good service!

Got everything I ordered, mattress is perfect. The base boards feel a lil weak, like if I stood on them I would probably break them. But other than that everything is fine, once the mattress is on felt good. For the price you cannot grumble, for that one flaw. Thanks divan!

Highly recommended

I wanted a comfortable bed at an affordable price and that is what I got. The mattress is very comfortable. Not to firm nor too soft and feels good quality. The delivery was accurate and very efficient and the whole process from ordering to delivery was faultless. I would definitely recommend Divan Beds to others.

Faulty bed

Bought a bed from these that is that poor in quality it's broken twice already now it completely collapsed only had it for 4-5 months I have tried to email them I got no reply and also rang them no answer now my child got no bed to sleep in I wouldn't recommend this company as I feel I have been ripped off the beds a badly made poor quality

Bad quality, bad customer service

The build quality of our mattress from them is poor. The headboard is poor and uneven. But mostly I cannot recommend the company due to their delivery processes, and business practice.

Once my order was placed I was told that delivery would be between ‘2-20 working days’ which is obviously very vague. I assumed delivery arrangements would be made closer to the time. After hearing nothing further, about 2 weeks later in the early evening I received an email telling me that my bed was being delivered the next day.

The timeslot was from 6am right across to 8pm. It said the driver would try to call beforehand, but said they might not. The email made clear - in capital letters - that this could not be rescheduled and that missing the delivery would incur costs to rearrange as they only make limited deliveries. Delivery was to be to the communal doorstep only.

The email came across as very demanding, it felt as though I was dealing with some sort of legal process rather than a customer buying a bed. By sheer luck I was to be home that day, but I don’t know what sort of hassle would have been incurred had I not been. I do not recommend this company unless you are permanently at home, or able to stay home all day without any notice.

Once set up, the bottom of the padded section of the headboard is very clearly uneven so is of poor quality.

UPDATED #1 - January 21. My review was originally 3 stars but I have reduced the rating further. After just a few months of use, the mattress is visibly sagging in places already. Although it felt comfortable to start with, clearly it’s poor quality. I would not expect it to last more than a couple of years before it will need replacing again.

UPDATED #2: Rating now reduced further. The company had my review removed because they did not believe I was a genuine customer (I missed the warning emails). I am a genuine customer and can prove this. There is not one untrue word in my review. I am very disappointed their response to customer issues is to try and shut them up rather than deal with the problems.

In regards to your comments on the items quality, I have checked your order history and not a single email was sent from yourselves highlighting any issues with your order. In future, please contact us soon after delivery and we are happy to exchange any parts where we can identify issues. The item you ordered is made to a high standard and we rarely get issues with our products. We not only provide the best prices in the UK, however after significant product testing of the years, we can confirm that our price to quality ratio is by far the best in the UK. If you ever have the chance to compare divans to a 3rd party of similar cost, we would love to see your feedback on this comparison.

In regards to your order was placed during the lockdown/COVID-19 restrictions. Due to this - our offices as well as the delivery services were understaffed. Delivery timescales were longer and no estimated times could be provided for most orders. I can confirm we now offer estimated times for most of our orders and delivery for most orders is approx 1 to 8 working days (estimated).

Be very careful

Be very careful. I ordered a FIRM  double mattress to replace an old one that had become far too soft for my back. Communication and delivery was good and it arrived a day later than originally stated but that was okay as they warned me.
We unwrapped it and when I lay on it, it was no different to the one I had: it was soft to medium, not even medium.
I shop online a great deal, and exclusively during the last year, so I didn't worry as all companies I had dealt with offered a return window. This was where I was at fault; I hadn't read the detail.
When I contacted them to tell them that it was far too soft for my back, they repeatedly sent me pre-written emails informing me that they had checked and had sent me the correct bed. And would I send a picture of the bed!? I said I would but I wasn't sure how this would tell them how soft the bed was! I then received another long email which warned me that if I 'refused to send a picture of the bed....'. I had not refused to do this at all.
This is a long story short, believe it or not.  Ultimately, they said that I would have to pay £94 (half of its cost) for them to pick it up. If you read the detail, it goes on to say that if the item is not suitable, you will have to pay £49 to £249 for them to pick it up as a return.
I'm furious. Be very careful when you order from this company.
