I paid $369 and divorce profile did not…

I paid $369 and divorce profile did not help me at all. They ripped me off. I received no help. As soon as I paid them they went dark and I haven't heard anything from them, whatsoever. Now, I'm wondering if I should report it as a crime.

Just hire a lawyer

Started the process months ago. Actual document generating and filing took almost 6 months. They only communicate with you via online portal chat or emails that take at least 1 business day to respond. I had literally chatted and asked why the process was taking such a long time and they claimed to be understaffed. That took about 3-5 weeks. Tried to submit and file paperwork with the courts, documents were deficient. I revised and re-submitted the documents and they were STILL deficient. Couldn't even get DivorceProfile to help with revision because I ended my subscription. Literally paid for a subscription and fees for months before even being able to file. Since it's advertised that you're eligible for a refund if the documents are rejected, I tried to ask for a refund only to find out I am unable to receive a refund because it has been past 120 days since the payment was made. Extreme waste of time and money.

This is the worst experience

This is the worst experience, please do not use this website they overcharge and they did not even file in court for me and still made me pay the filing fee, but then took months and months to fix my errors and then said that they can’t refund me because it’s outside of the time zone for refund?
And I paid for a notary service today and they only did one document instead of two and want me to pay again I’m not doing that, just go to the court and do it yourself. This is a waste of money terrible terrible terrible.

I’d never recommend this company

I’d never recommend this company. They drag out the process by not communicating timely, you fill out the paperwork on line and then they send back the same documents multiple times when they can do it just once. It’s been months and my divorce is still not done.

I basically fill out the paperwork myself, in order to get help I need to pay more. I have not received any other notification so I dont know where my paperwork went..or when it will be sent to me. all I get if surveys.

Garbage

Garbage. it’s a scam with hidden fees and opaque subscription model. They take their time to get back to you, and when they do provide instructions they are vague and unspecific. You need to ask questions repeatedly, the replies are delayed…. then surprise, you have to shell out more money to continue.

I’ve been stuck on one form for weeks…

I’ve been stuck on one form for weeks with extremely slow responses to my questions. And the only answer I really get is to follow the filing instructions on my profile. I’m not even past the completing my forms step in the process. How am I supposed to file if I can’t get past completing my forms?it’s frustrating and feels like I’m I’m being taken for $89 a month. I am not getting clear, timely and complete answers to my questions. Every response I’ve received for months now has left my question unanswered and I have to wait days or weeks to get another response. I’ve removed my signature and resigned 3-4 times trying to figure it out myself with no luck. And I’m being charged $0.90 per signature while I try and figure it out myself.

Yes they helped me with the paperwork…

Yes they helped me with the paperwork but when it came to filing I had to file at my courthouse and they drug it out for several months charging me. I have asked for a partial refund but as of yet haven't received it.

I had such a hard time talking to anyone or getting any responses or help. This has taken way longer than it needed too and even now I am still not done and they cannot finish filing for me. I’m still currently waiting on an answer on how to finish.

Incorrect Email given to the court system

I logged into my Unifed Court System profile on Sept 5 2025 to check on the status of my documents to find out that my divorde judgemnt was filed on August 19 and I was never notified. Why you ask? Becuase when divorce profile set up my profile with the Unified Court System they put an email that does not even exist! I am now having to go back through the court system because I missed the deadline for me to send in my notice of entry. I do not understand how a mistake like this could have happened. Divorce Profile has my email in my account with them, how could they incorrectly submit that information with the Court system!? I even reached out to the Divorce Profile team via the chat on the website and of course, no response. I even paid to renew the subscription hoping that would get me a response. Nothing. This is honestly unacceptable and now I have to correct a mistake that I did not even make because I was not notified when my documents were filed. Absolutely unacceptable.
