DoMyTax proTitle: Months of follow-ups for a proper accounting handovervided accounting and payroll…
DoMyTax provided accounting and payroll services to my Czech company for approximately CZK 14,000 per month. My experience - particularly during the termination and handover in 2026 - was extremely disappointing.
I gave written notice in April, which DoMyTax acknowledged. During the following months, I repeatedly requested the complete 2024–2025 handover required by our new accountant, including the accounting backup, trial balances and ledgers, VAT/OSS filings and submission records, reconciliations, and corporate-tax supporting documents. Instead of receiving a clean and timely transfer, both our company and our new accountant had to make repeated follow-ups for records needed to verify and continue the historical accounting work.
I was also dissatisfied with the transparency around additional charges. On 24 April, we received a CZK 4,235 proforma invoice for JMHZ registrations, due only six days later, despite already paying substantial monthly accounting and payroll fees. We subsequently disputed a further CZK 14,883 invoice while, from our perspective, important deliverables and handover matters remained unresolved.
The central problem was the amount of time, uncertainty and pressure involved in obtaining a complete, auditable handover after paying significant monthly fees. Based on my company’s experience, I cannot recommend DoMyTax to businesses that require reliable deadlines, advance clarity about additional charges, and an orderly transition between accountants.
