Top notch quality and craftsmanship. I used a custom tune and it was easy to communicate with the team at Donuma. The music box is now a family heirloom. Beautifully done.

I’m not gonna lie…I was skeptical at first, but I’m so glad I worked past that. My music box is so special and I know the intended will absolutely love it. The song is perfect, the box is perfect, and the process is perfect. Each time I had a question my email was responded to with courtesy and concern. So glad I stumbled across these guys.

The whole process was great. Getting a custom melody was easy and communication for the melody was clear and quick. Shipping was much faster than expected. The box was wrapped securely. The box itself looks beautiful and sounds just how I was hoping. Great experience all around.

The music box I ordered is absolutely beautiful. The seller worked very quickly and the custom music piece came out perfectly. This is a wonderful tribute and reminder of my friend.

Demo recording was slow - as requested - and the final product was double the speed. Beautiful box, as designed, however the design process allowed me to add features I hadn’t ordered, and then I had to pay extra. Awesome they could transpose the box for an original composition, however I was disappointed in a few of the steps along the way.

Sent me someone else’s order. They’ve resent the correct one, hopefully I receive it asap. Was disappointed as I’m unsure I’ll be able to give my gift on time.

I wish i could give more than 5 stars! I commissioned a custom tune music box with ring holder as a birthday gift for my husband. Cedrick worked with me throughout the customization process. He was super responsive and very quick with the music box demo and engraving sample. I don't remember if there was some rule about only allowing a certain number of changes (I looked into a couple of different shops before going with Donuma), but even if there was such a rule, it didn't matter because the Donuma team nailed it on every element of the design process. Cedrick sent along multiple engraving choices based on my rather paltry description for what i wanted the font to look like, and they all looked fantastic. Alas I could only choose one! And their musician is amazing too—I had chosen a segment of a rather peppy song and their musician was unfortunately unable to convert that particular part of the song, but was quick to suggest another segment that was similar enough to my original choice, so it'd still be very recognizable.

The final product is beautiful and my husband loved it and was very impressed. Thank you to Cedrick and the rest of the Donuma team for helping me make this a special day for my husband!

I first saw this teams product about a year and half ago. Needless to say, I was very excited to finally purchase a music box. The team was quick and highly communicative throughout the process. They consistently looked for my input to make sure it turned out how I would want it to be. The final product was absolutely beautiful!

This process took over 3 months because they went above and beyond in helping me create the perfect custom music. They were able to send the music score and I could edit it each time and then they would send back a sample of the music. The final product is perfect and I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the work and time that the musician took to get the music to be what I was looking for.

Donuma is extremely responsive and creates an amazing product. I requested a custom music box and they were so responsive and the final product was amazing! Such an amazing gift, I almost teared up a little when I received the music box because it exceeded my expectations! One note is that you need to order early for custom music because it does take a while for the custom music to be made.
